Perfect tropical resort in Kauai nestled among the palm trees on 35 acres of lush lawns and fragrant flowers. You get beautiful ocean views and sunsets from the lanai on this OCEAN FRONT unit. #9 has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and sleeps 4 with the sofa sleeper. THIS UNIT HAS AIR CONDITIONING, very rare. It has a washer/dryer in the condo, very rare. The dining table seats 4. The unit is approximately 650 sqft. with a large living room and has a 200 sqft balcony. Free parking/WIFI/tennis/pool/fitness. We just had the unit painted and added air conditioning. With summer coming up, even in Hawaii, your vacation will be more fun with AIR CONDITIONING even if you need for only sleeping or for any reason. There are very few units with AC and washer and dryer in all of Kauai. All the appliances are new including the bedroom furniture and artwork. There is also a well stocked toy closet with everything you might need for a day at the beach. With this unit on the beach, you have it all. If you need assistance please feel free to reach out but please keep in mind that I am in Texas in the Central Time Zone (about 4 hours difference from Hawaii). For emergencies please contact Castle Management on site. There is also 24/7 security on site. Kauai is considered the "Garden Island" and the epitome of paradise. Kiahuna Plantation is a 35-acre resort with great lawns, fragrant flowers and palm trees everywhere. It's perfect for families or romantic vacations. Kiahuna Plantation #9, puts you right in the middle of paradise with beautiful ocean views from lanai, steps to the beach, great restaurants, fun activities, spacious rooms for family and friends, plus all the amenities of home. Also just a walk across the street is the Poipu Shopping Village which includes Keoki's Paradise restaurant, Anuenue Café for an incredible breakfast, Bangkok Happy Bowl Thai Bistro, Island Taco, Kauai Juice Co., Poipu Rock n' Roll Sushi, Puka Dog-Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs, Del Sol for color-changing clothes, Na Hoku for unique and island-style jewelry, Making Waves for swimwear, Soul Lei for "real dirt" t-shirts, and more. In front of the shopping village is Little Fish Coffee which is a great place to get a delicious variety of coffees, açaí bowls, smoothies and sandwiches. Right down the street visit The Shops at Kukui'ula which includes Lululemon, Ruth Chris Steak House, Sunglass Hut, Tommy Bahama, Uncle's Shave Ice, Tortilla Republic Grill & Margarita Bar, Tori Richard exotic art, Gourmet Pizza and Burgers by Merriman's, Merriman's Fish House, Malie Organics boutique luxury spa and beauty brands, Long's Drug store, Living Foods Gourmet Market & Cafe, Bubba Burgers and more. There are many unique benefits of staying in #9. I fell in love with the gorgeous ocean views, sunset views, the soothing sounds of ocean waves and birds singing from the lanai, the tall, vaulted ceilings, the amount of space in each room, the quiet location of #9 being away from the traffic, and the convenience of your own washer/dryer in the unit. (You can purchase laundry detergent and dryer sheets at the laundromat on property or at the Castle front desk.) One-bedroom and one-bath gives you so much room to enjoy, have privacy, unclutter, entertain and relax. It is a place you won't want to leave. You can sign up with Outrigger Tours (located on the property) for luaus, great kayak adventures, bike rentals and/or bike tours down Waimea Canyon. Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership is included with your rental in #9, and it is located right across the street. They have tennis courts, a basketball court, shuffleboard and pickle ball courts. Check in at the front for loaner rackets and balls. If you have a car, drive to Waimea Canyon and enjoy the views or take a bike tour down the Canyon. Drive to Gaylord's in Lihue for fine dining, luau, train ride or shopping. Drive to Duke's Kauai for beachfront dining while watching the surfers. There are several hiking trails with great scenic views. Rent a bike and ride past The Beach House restaurant to Spouting Horn in Koloa to view the waves crashing into the lava rock as the water spouts up. There is a fabulous boat tour to the Na Pali Coastline (take your camera). One of my favorite restaurants is just a few miles east of Kiahuna, Brennecke’s Beach House. At night you might find very large turtles on the beach across from Brennecke’s. It’s incredible to see these beautiful turtles, but be careful not to disturb them. There are so many things to do right on the Kiahuna property. Make sure you visit the Plantation Gardens restaurant, lounge at the beautiful beach, swim and body surf in the ocean, take surf lessons, go paddle boarding, relax on your lanai watching the waves crash in, play golf, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, relax by the pool at Poipu Beach Athletic Club or at the Cabana Bar (pool bar), cook meals on the outdoor bbq grills, grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset on the beach and more.
