Great water front "House on the Bayou!"

The house is on a private canal leading directly into Bayou Barataria. You can fish right of the dock or have your fishing charter pick you up. New Orleans is about an hour away with its Great music, restaurants, museums or the zoo, aquarium and our world-famous French Quarter. Jean Lafitte National Park is about 30 minutes away with many hiking trails. The people of the Town of Jean Lafitte are very friendly and shopping for basics is near-by.
