Permit #7768 Guest access **Getting Around Highlands** Highlands is a small charming bayside town and we're located one block from the Bay Ave, the 'main street' making it easy to walk everywhere—beaches, waterfront restaurants, the ferry to NYC, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, parks, and playgrounds. Biking is even quicker (we provide three bikes!), and driving is convenient with four driveway parking spots and free street parking. Most parking in town is free, and there’s an EV charging station at Bahrs Restaurant. Plus, we’re just minutes from the beautiful beaches and activities of Sea Bright & Sandy Hook! For transit options, Uber is available, the NYC ferry is just a mile away with $10 overnight parking, and a NYC bus stop is around the corner at the top of Miller Hill. Other things to note -We are Dog Welcoming – one dog at $25/night -Family-friendly but NOT childproofed or handicap accessible, feel free to ask questions to ensure our home is the right fit for your stay. -Stairs Required – House is only accessible via stairs. -Primary Loft Bedroom – Private but no door at the top of the stairs (light sleepers may want a room downstairs). - Security - Outdoor Ring cameras monitor all entrances.Cameras record motion 24/7 and are accessible via ring app 24/7 for safety purposes only. NO interior cameras. - Nature Lovers' Retreat – Expect birds, bugs, and occasional wildlife.
