Ground Floor Oceanfront Condo - Kahana Reef 116 Located ground floor and on the oceanfront in Kahana, this 1-bedroom/1-bath fully equipped condo has all you will want and need for the quiet Maui vacation. A portable A/C unit was recently installed in the living room. Walk right out to the oceanfront pool, BBQs, and a sea wall and enjoy the cool West Maui trade winds. Guests will enjoy watching sunsets year-round and whales in the winter. Walk into Kahana for shopping and dining or 5 minutes in either direction to white sandy beaches. Self-check in. There's a lock box on the front door, 3pm check in time. Lock box code will be sent via email prior to arrival. I won’t be available in person, and prefer communicating through the app. There are numerous beaches within a 5 to 15 minute drive. Make sure you visit Kapalua Bay, barely north of here. You’ll enjoy watching Hawaiian sea turtles feeding on the reef in front of you. China Boat restaurant is across the street. Maui Brewing Co, Village Coffee, Dollies, Smiles Nail Salon, etc, are a short walk away. Rental Car is suggested. Nearby Beaches to Kahana Reef: 1. Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): Generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills, and a large grassy area. 2. Honokowai Beach Park: Great for snorkeling due to the shallow, reef-protected beach, Children’s playground area, plenty of shade, tables, and BBQ grills. 3. Pohaku Park (S-Turns): Calmer during summer months, with sandy and rocky shoreline, and picnic tables.
