Guest suite in Bolton
Description
Tucked into the slope of Vaughn Hill on 3 wooded acres, the entire lower level of our home is yours to enjoy. Cozy 2-bedroom unit with “the BEST BEDS at an Air BNB ever!" to quote a guest. Visit Nashoba Valley Winery, get coffee at Harvard General Store, go apple-picking at a local orchard, or hike Vaughn Hill trails. *Wood-fired backyard sauna available by request with $20 firing fee *Well-behaved dogs (non-destructive, house-broken) welcome! Sorry - no cats, due to prior experiences. The space Our home is located on a woodsy residential road - a quiet spot with a big, hilly backyard on 3.5 acres. You'll stay in the lower level of the house, ~1000 square foot space with connected living room, dining area, and kitchenette (with microwave, sink, and small fridge). Down a hallway are 2 bedrooms (Queen Casper + full) and a bathroom with shower stall. Guest access The whole lower level of the home is yours to enjoy (except the utility room). You'll access the Airbnb through your private entrance via the patio under the deck. (We enter our unit from the front of the house.) The patio is reserved for your private use, complete with a dining table and a chair hammock (seasonally). We have space for 2 guest cars. The backyard is shared and quite large. With the gate latched between the garage and the house, it becomes a fully-fenced 1-acre backyard. The backyard sauna is available by request for a $20 firing fee (stays hot for 1.5/2 hours session). Please inquire if you’re interested in the sauna to ensure we will be on site; the wood-fired sauna takes about an hour to reach temp. *Due to safety and liability, only hosts may operate the sauna stove, and guests must sign a waiver to use the sauna.* It’s simply an incredible experience and usually ensures a deep sleep! Other things to note We have a dog, so you will hear the pitter patter of paws and the occasional bark. She's friendly but will stay out of your way during your stay. We live upstairs, so you may hear us from time to time. There are 2 parking spaces available for guests (and no on-street parking on our narrow hilly street). Our driveway is steep, so please drive carefully down in inclement weather. In the event of snow, guests may park in one of the paved spots next to the street (to get in and out easily). We clear and treat (salt and sand) the driveway and pathways as soon as we can once the storm clears.
