West Cape May’s "Higbee House" is situated in the middle of the Higbee Wildlife Area on Cape May Island. A charming and quiet retreat tucked away in the middle of mother nature, Higbee House is only one mile from the Cape May beaches and the center of the city. Once booked, we will ask for your email address to send your lease, with info about property and the check-in process. **A signed lease is REQUIRED for booking** The space At dusk you can see the sunset over a large wild field of flowers from our kitchen window while on a clear night you can see the stars. This is a family home, newly renovated in 2021 featuring 3 bedrooms including a large lofted space perfect for children and teens. Three of the four beds have queen sized beds while one bedroom provides a full sized and a back door onto a screened in deck. Higbee House provides many everyday amenities including shampoo, conditioner, soap,basic cleaning supplies, dishwasher/laundry pods and toilet paper. Fresh, clean bedding, linens along with bath towels, hand towels and dish towels are all included with every stay (long or short) and paid for via the standard cleaning fee. We also offer many streaming services, free high-speed wifi and charging stations in every room. Higbee House provides an extensive outdoor living space including a completely screened in back porch/three season room and an outdoor dining room/patio area with a dining table and 6 chairs. We also have a firepit complete with outdoor furniture and a solo stove which reduces the amount of smoke. Additional amenities include: outdoor shower, 6 seasonal beach tags, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys. We also offer many children games/toys (stored in our coffee table), birding platform with swings underneath and a magical fairy garden. Keys will be picked up from the 24 hour kiosk set up outside of our office; Century 21 Gilmartin & Company. We can NOT offer late departures or early check-ins. We need to allow our cleaning crew ample time to ensure your rental is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. There are 3 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms located on first floor; one has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a full size bed. The loft has 2 queen size beds. ENTERTAINMENT There is a smart tv in the living room. Log into your paid services and don't forget to log out when you leave! BEACH There are two public beach areas nearly; Cape May City and Cape May Point. Both require tags. This rental provides 6 beach tags. Additional/Daily weekly tags can be purchased with cash at any of the beach entrances. OUTDOORS Please use the fire pit with care and caution. No oversized fires are permitted and fires outside the fire pit are strictly prohibited. Including but not limited to, NO loud music, parties or generally disturbing behavior. **Quiet house are from 9:00p.m.-8:00a.m. If you plan to party do not book this home. **TRASH GOES OUT TUESDAY NIGHT**if you fail to take the trash to the curb there will be a $100 pick up charge **NO SMOKING** **All guests must be 25+ (children with parents/caregivers permitted) ****This property has a 3 NIGHT minimum 6 seasonal beach tags are available to guests for use on Cape May beaches. If beach tags are lost there will be a charge of $30 per tag.
