Our house is big enough for up to 16 guests, and is located just across the street from PM Park and Clear Lake Boats! Are you a veteran, or plan on having one stay in your group? This large home can sleep 16-18 guests! The older part of the home has a rustic, large kitchen and family room area that is sure to bring the whole crew together. With vintage cabinets, and large windows, you are sure to be reminded of a time from better years. Just off the kitchen you will find a dining area with a large table crafted from a Clear Lake original bowling lane! Additionally, there is a small sunroom connected by sliding glass door, that offers another small table and chairs. The main floor also hosts a suite with a small private full bath and in room washer and dryer. There is also a small accessible bedroom from the original cottage that has a bathroom directly across the hall that is also handicap accessible. This room has no windows, but has been enjoyed by many that prefer complete darkness when sleeping. The home is also wheelchair accessible using the main door entrance off of Crane Street. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a walk in closet connected to another bedroom with a jack and jill bathroom. There is an additional bedroom as well, and a bathroom in the hallway that shares with joined bedrooms 6 and 7. There is also a second washer and dryer in this hallway and a small seating area. Additionally there is a joined family room that connects a small bedroom with a children's bedroom. This is ideal for families with children staying with other family or friends. The bathroom for these bedrooms 6 and 7 are able to share a bathroom in the hallway with bedroom 5. Finally, the second set of stairs leads up to bedroom 8. This bedroom offers a connected 1/2 bath and sunlights. This room is for those that love to wake up to sunshine, or may prefer to break away from the group to spend time reading a book. Please do not park in PM Park's overflow parking. You will be towed as this is not our property. We have parking for three cars on the Crane Street side of the home, as well as off street parking down Crane Street. We are available during your stay by phone or text and are happy to help! Located directly across the street from PM Park and Clear Lake boats. Short walk to the lake. We know you have options! So what makes us different? We like to think we go the extra mile to make our guests feel comfortable and welcomed. We are a small family business and are not run by a firm or management company. I will personally interact with you from the point of booking through check out, and everywhere in between in which you may need assistance. Every guest is greeted with a gift at checkin, and we are continuously adding to the “extras” we provide. ******Coming Summer 2023: 2 new arcade games! ********** Checkin procedure: The day of check in, we will contact you as soon as we get the go ahead from our team that the home is clean and ready for your arrival! You will be given directions along with an access code for the lock to access the house at your convenience. That’s it! We strive to make checkin flexible and convenient. Questions may always be addressed to us via the app, or by referencing the guest book in the kitchen, or the guidebook in our listing. Checkout procedure: Thank you for staying with us and helping support our small family business! The day of check out, if you could please vacate by 11:00 am, our team will be arriving then to prepare for the following guests. Remember to take your belongings, and checkout is complete! We value your time and experience as a customer. We require no cleaning or checklists. We know you have many options, and feel privileged you chose us as your host. There are 4.5 bathrooms. All 4 full bathrooms are shower only. We do have a baby bathtub available by request. The main floor has an accessible bathroom/shower. There is a 0 stair entry available as well. Look for updated pictures as we complete a few upgrades and projects! While we treat for insects, due to our close proximity to the lake it may be unavoidable to have no insects entirely. This is true especially during May and the summer months, with the emergence of the mayflies. In addition to preventative pest management, we also have the house professionally power washed biannually. We strive to take every measure possible to prevent them, but in some cases an insect may be able to get inside. Please be aware that we are right across the street and walking distance from Pm Park. When events are occurring, or even during normal business hours, it is possible that concerts or other noise may be heard from the house.
