The space The charming Forest Lodge Farm Cottage sits on picturesque 125 acres of prime beef cattle farmland, 13km from the Historic Heritage town of Bowraville at No. 1319 North Arm Road, Argents Hill, NSW, Australia. The view from the cottage overlooks the beautiful valley below, with the private deck being the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, and experience total tranquility in the clean country air. Equipped with everything you will need to ensure your stay is comfortable with the recent addition of reverse cycle air conditioning for the added comfort of our guests, this home away from home features a queen master bedroom (with air-conditioning), second bedroom with four single beds, fully self-contained kitchen, large living/dining area (with an open fireplace), bath/shower with separate toilet, laundry facilities, outdoor dining and barbeque area. Bottled water, milk and free-range eggs are provided when available. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the true farm experience: feeding our friendly farm animals, swimming and fishing in the fresh water of the Buckrabendinni Creek (which meanders through the property) and for the adventure-seeker, nearby to the Horseshoe Mountain for motorbike riding. Mobile service and Wifi has recently been installed. Forest Lodge is a great escape from the hustle and bustle and demands of everyday life. Guest access During your stay you will have full access to the whole 120 acres including strolling around the paddocks, down to the fresh water creek for a dip, throw in a line and try your luck to catch a fish. You can stroll around and experience beef cattle and calves grazing, have wallabies hopping around and abundant birdlife. There is also the opportunity to feed the sheep and chickens or sit on the verandah taking in green pastures and the mountains and chill. Other things to note As Forest Lodge Farm Cottage is 13km from the nearest shops, guests should bring their own groceries with them. The Cottage is fully air conditioned and self-contained with all kitchen equipment, linen and amenities provided. Bowraville has every day conveniences of a Supermarket, Bakery, Post Office, Pub, Cafes and Chemist. Major shopping is in Coffs Harbour or Kempsey approximately 1 hour away.
