Unwind at this stunning home inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, and lovingly built in a hacienda style w/ each room uniquely customized w/ tile floors & colorful Mexican tile accents. Relax by the oasis style pool, patio bar & grill area or inside the shaded sunroom. Includes family game room w/pool table and desk/work space. All new appliances, shopping & restaurants less than 5 mins at City Center & Energy Corridor, 15 mins to Galleria, less than 20 mins to downtown, 25 mins to Med Ctr The space The house can accommodate up to 13 people and has four bedrooms and two full baths. Bedroom 1 (Master): Queen bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Queen bed Bedroom 4: Double bunk bed (sleeps up to 4 kids), Futon bed (sleeps 2) *Two roll away beds can be placed in any room. Bathroom 1: (Master bedroom) Shower & toilet Bathroom 2: (Hallway) Bathtub, shower and toilet The house has a cozy and bright feel during the day, and spending time by the pool is super relaxing. Waking up in the mornings to have coffee in the sunroom with family is something you'll love about the Frida Kahlo Hacienda. The view of the pool from the sunroom is just spectacular, and you will want to spend hours there. Days and evenings are easy and fun by the pool lounge area, and you can make your way over to the Mexican patio bar that also has a nice view of the pool. The pool does not have a jacuzzi. However, the pool can be heated during cold months. The fee for using the pool heater is $75. Depending on how cold it is outside, it may take several hours for the pool to heat up and may need to be heated overnight on the first night of your stay to be ready the next day. If a guest would like to use the pool heater, they must turn it on themselves (we can walk you through it) and are responsible for turning off before checking out. The Frida Kahlo Hacienda is located in a quiet neighborhood and is just a five minute drive to City Center where there are plenty of great restaurants, bars and places to shop as well as play area for kids. The house is less than a minute from I-10 and the beltway. Easy access to downtown and the Galleria mall. Memorial City Mall is just 10 minutes away and is the second largest mall in Texas. This also is a major tourist attraction in Houston and is conveniently located just a few miles from the house. With hundreds of stores & numerous restaurants, Memorial City Mall is an ideal place to visit while in Houston. It is the second-largest mall in Texas and has something to offer for all ages~ Three of our favorite restaurants in the area are Impero Italiano (cute authentic Italian cafe with owners from Napoli), Fadi's Kitchen (amazing and fresh Mediterranean food), Tacos Dona Lena (Rated one of Yelp's top restaurants in America, small family owned taco shop). We highly recommend all three of these! Guest access Upon check in, you will be provided with the gate code and door code. We do contactless entry, so you do not have to meet us for the key. The house is easily accessible by car from I-10, one of the main highways in Houston, which is just 2 mins away. Parking for up to four cars is available on the driveway of the property. Both Hobby Airport and Bush Intercontinental Airport are a 30 min drive.
