The SnowBox - Jay, Vermont

Welcome to The SnowBox - clean lines, beautiful views, quietude and peace. We are a 5 minute drive from Jay Peak and conveniently located for all the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont has to offer. Kingdom Bike Trails, Hill Farmstead Brewery and beautiful Lake Willoughby are all a scenic 45 minute drive away. The Quebec border is < 3 miles away. Our cabin is sited on 5 acres and abuts The Jay Rec. Trail. The trail is groomed in the winter so bring your snowshoes, x-country skis and fat tire bikes. The space The SnowBox was built in 2020 and has clean modern lines bathed in natural light. Nature is the star with our place and views of the outside are the art. The kitchen, dining and living area are open concept making for a great entertainment area. Bedrooms have beautiful views to take in pink sunrises, double rainbows or big snowflakes dropping in the forest. Bathrooms have heated floors for cozy feet. Mudroom has a ski rack and washer/dryer for your convenience. The SnowBox is a great landing spot for those visiting Jay Peak. Bring your cozy slippers, good reading, favorite meals and come disconnect for a bit. Dennis and Jen Guest access The driveway has a long runway and there are a couple of turnarounds. During the winter when snow is constant, please be sure to front face park your vehicle(s) in one of the turnarounds. Bottlenecking the driveway with vehicles makes it difficult for the plow truck operator and you run the risk of being snowed in. Snow rated tires, AWD/4x4 are all recommended during the winter and spring months. The Town of Jay does an excellent job with plowing but there are many passes with steep grades that get squalled over in minutes.
