The Old Dairy, with beautiful westward views.

This stylishly converted old dairy has oak and beams and flooring and has beautiful far reaching views west towards Lyme Regis . It is perfect the perfect base for exploring this part of the beautiful Jurassic-coast, browsing around the Georgian market town of Bridport, fossiling in Lyme Regis and walking in the West Dorset’s Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Relax in the evening light out in the garden area looking over the fields and woods. Picnic is in the woodland with the bbq provided . The space The Old Dairy is a recently refurbished barn . It has oak beams and an oak floor as well as a wood burning stove and underfloor heating . The sitting area has a very comfortable sofa for relaxing on while taking in the views west and beautiful sunsets . The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook delicious meals. The ingredients for which can be sourced at Felicity’s Farm shop, a mile from the Old Dairy . The bedroom area which is set back in a separate area of the space , has a king size bed with pure cotton sheets and plenty of towels . There is a chest of drawer with a mirror above and hanging space . The shower-room has a good sized shower with plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries . Outside there is a private garden area with a bench and table and chairs, again looking west . Guests are able to walk through the field opposite and through the woodland area to a picnic bench and watch swallows catching flies on the summer and the barn owls hunting in the dusk. Guest access There is free parking close to the barn. Other things to note We are happy to welcome one small dog , but ask you not to allow it on the furniture and to use the dog towels provided to clean up muddy paws and coats ! There is a additional charge of £15 for extra cleaning which is payable through Airbnb.
