THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: - - Regardless of applicable cancellation policy, all reservations except Airbnb are charged 34% of the total price 1 day after confirmation, 33% 30 days prior to trip, 33% on day before the trip. Airbnb reservations are charged as per Airbnb terms and conditions. - Airbnb bookings are subject to an ID Verification and rental agreement. The security deposit is handled directly by Airbnb and is also $2500.00. - ID Verifications are to make sure the person booking and paying is the person that shows up at the rental. - There is a pet fee for pet owners of $150 per stay per pet for Airbnb and $25 per night per pet for all other platforms. - This is not a hotel, it is a vacation rental. We do not have hotel amenities. Keep that in mind before booking. That is reflected in the pricing. - Due to health reasons and for the sake of the environment, we no longer provide BODY SOAP, LOTION, SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER. We provide hand soap, dish soap and all other toiletries. That is reflected in the pricing. - There are no front desks or staff onsite. We are always available to be communicated with and have emergency staff that can be dispatched for repairs or any issues but they are not onsite. You must contact us if need be. - We try to provide the best possible instructions for everything, if there is anything that is unclear or you are having trouble with anything, you must contact us as there is no one onsite to help you. - Always be respectful and polite in any communication. - Mishaps happen, kindly let us know if something went wrong. It is the best and most cost effective way to deal with any issue that may have been caused. LGBTQ+ friendly - safe space for all -- Guest access Guest has exclusive use of the entire property, Bois Joli, during their stay. Check in starts at 5pm and you can check in anytime after that. Building is located at the end of a private road with a large parking and is easy to load in and load out. The building is newly renovated and has all modern amenities. This is an automated entrance with electronic locks. There are no front desks. You will receive all the access codes on the morning of your arrival date for security reasons. The laundry room is located on the lower floor of the unit. There are some supplies in the unit for you to use. The first bag of kindling and wood are free. Any additional bags are at a cost of 14,50 each (tax included) payable in cash or by interac transfer. You will find a fire pit, hot tub and outdoor kitchen with BBQ outside. PARKING There is quite a lot of free parking. Mont-Tremblant is a Nordic city and as such experiences extreme winter events including blizzards, ice storms and snow storms. Streets and sidewalks can be slippery and covered by snow. The removal of snow is quite efficient but it is quite inconvenient until it is done. Same for the building, best efforts are done to keep passage ways and stairs clear of snow, ice and debris but during major climate events, there may be delays. Please keep that in mind. Inclement weather can also occur during spring, summer and fall. Also note that Mont-Tremblant is in the countryside and as such does not have all the typical amenities you may find in a city. Finally, as it is located in a rural area, you will find wild animals and insects. Other things to note Welcome to your home away from home! Protect Surfaces: Use coasters and cutting boards to keep tables and counters mark-free. Bathroom Basics: Only toilet paper down the toilets. Respect the Home: Treat the place with care as if it were your own. BYO Toiletries: Please bring your own bodywash and shampoo. Our smart TVs are set for your favorite shows, just log in with your accounts. Fondue Caution: Guests cover damages from Fondue or Raclette sets. Use a cloth or oven mitt to protect the surfaces. Kitchen Care: Hot items shouldn’t go directly on surfaces; use the provided cloths or oven mitts. Temperature Settings: Heaters max out at 23°C, AC at 18°C. Please do not set the temperature outside that range. Key Keeper: If keys are provided, you're responsible for returning them. Seamless Check-In/Out: We offer contactless entry and exit for a smooth experience. LAST MINUTE BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY: Any reservations made within 7 days of check-in will be non-cancellable and non-refundable. The cancellation policy for last minute reservations made through Airbnb & VRBO may differ. Security Deposit: For reservations outside of Airbnb, a hold on your credit card will be placed before check-in and released after check-out. Never leave a fire unattended, and always use the protective gear provided. Remember, only use materials meant for burning which is firewood and kindling – furniture and trash is not meant to go in the fireplace. Do not leave hot ash, coal, or the ash bin on combustible materials. Wood & Hot Ash: We've got wood and kindling ready for you both inside the property and in dry storage outside, it is not free. Guests are permitted to bring their own firewood. Please place ash and coal in the provided ash bins and keep them in safe spots – NOT on any combustible materials. Landscaping & Snow Removal: Help us keep the place looking beautiful by respecting the gardens and understanding that snow removal takes time.
