Relax in a tranquil private bedroom overlooking the Grand Mesa. Rest in one of our many mindful micro-spaces and hammocks. Walk the peaceful private 8 acres along our 1/3 mile trail in open fields & cottonwood trees. Feel cozy with good vibes in a rustic, yet modern, country house. This private room is hosted by 2 of Discovery Channel's Naked & Afraid wilderness survivalists, who live on the property. We are always excited to talk about nature snd survival, if that interests you. The space You'll sleep in the cozy queen bed private room with a view of the Grand Mesa. This bedroom has a warm farmhouse cabin type feel. The bathroom, across the hallway, is private just for your use. All living, kitchen, outdoor and entry are shared with hosts. We will respect your space and privacy and expect the same from you. We live on the ground level floor and request that ground level access is just for us. Our mindful house is also a mini healing center with many spiritual and earth based retreat like features (tipi, outdoor circle, dance & movement area, small pond, hammocks, bee therapy healing hut, etc). . We host small group healing events & retreats in between airbnb guests. We are excited to share the fabulous energy cultivated in our home and land with you. There are chickens who free range on the property, as well as 2 outdoor only cats & 2 loving border heeler dogs. Our dogs will greet you when you arrive. There are also bee hives on the property. Guests will not have access to the bee therapy healing hut. Other farm features include our gardens, xeriscape, 4 bee hives, chicken, food forest & more. Guest access F50 Road is a well maintained easily accessible short private neighborhood dirt road. Walk around on our fully fenced peaceful 8 acres, while being surrounded by other large properties in privacy. Each guest is greeted in person with a short welcome. Guests will also be given the convenient keycode lock again at check in. There are multiple parking spots for guests. We ask that you park off the paved drive and on the side so other cars can drive around the circular driveway. Our space has a country boho feel while being just on the edge of town. Guests are provided morning coffee and tea, as well as a light healthy serve yourself breakfast for all dietary needs (varies from farm fresh hard boiled eggs, instant gf oatmeal, toast, fruit & yogurt). Other things to note We purchased this property September 2021 and are working hard to bring it back to life. Please respect our garden and herbs, as well as the many intentional plants in the property. These plants aren’t for the taking.
