Welcome to Hibari !We renovated traditional Japanese house constructed over 100 years ago into comfortable guesthouse. It is a small hostel with a total of 5 rooms, but each room has its own unique characteristics. This single room can stay just 1 person as private use. The room is decorated with wood, clay walls, tatami mats, and antique furniture, giving a cozy and nostalgic feel. Located just one stop from Kyoto station, lively and energetic area. Great place for sightseeing or long stay. The space We renovated this room by natural material ( wood , soil , straw). Pillar and ceiling board is old wood. Room floor is tatami mats.Wall is soil. Please feel and enjoy staying in Japanese traditional room . The size of the room is 6㎡. The room is a private room, but our bathroom and shower room is shared. Room door can be locked. We have not private bath room and shower in a room. You have to share 2 toilets and 1 shower with other guests ( around 6 persons without yours). We are located next to central market. Therefore you maybe care about the noise from early morning. We provide ear plug for free. Thank you for your understanding. About equipment Towels, hair dryer, earplugs, hangers, rinse-in-shampoo, body soap, cotton, cotton swabs, iron, dish cups, cooking tools, and seasonings are available. * Hibari Annex “Takenoya” will open 200m south of the hotel.
