There are houses that are built to last for generations. Ours is one of them. Since 1948, at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, successive generations of our family have begun their lives here. Today, this authentic highlander cottage, surrounded by a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains and the tranquility of Podhale, opens its doors to guests. We still raise sheep on our farm, maintaining a tradition passed down from generation to generation. We hope that during your stay you will find here what has always been most precious to us – peace. The space The House with a Story - Since 1948 A Family Home in the Heart of Podhale. Welcome to our family home There are houses that are built to last for generations. Ours is one of them. This authentic highlander cottage was built in 1948 and was our family's home for over 75 years. It was here that successive generations began their lives, grew up, and created memories. A few years ago, we decided to restore the house with great respect for its history. We preserved the wooden beams, hand-carved details, and the unique atmosphere of an old Podhale cottage, while creating a place where you can comfortably relax. Today, we are happy to share our home with guests. ⸻ A view you'll never get tired of The house is located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. From the windows and the garden, there is a beautiful panorama of the mountains that is breathtaking at any time of the year. Mornings with coffee on the terrace, sunsets over the Tatras, and evenings by the fireplace are the moments our guests most often remember after returning home. ⸻ A silence that is increasingly difficult to find The greatest luxury of this place is not the sauna or the hot tub. It's the tranquility. The house is located on a large private property intended exclusively for our guests. Although we still raise sheep on the family farm, the entire space around the house is at your exclusive disposal, so you can fully enjoy the tranquility and privacy. ⸻ The real Podhale My dad has been raising sheep since he was a child, continuing a tradition that has been passed down in our family for generations. Depending on the season, you can see sheep grazing in the surrounding meadows, and in the spring, you can also see small lambs. This is the everyday life that has been a part of our lives for years and that we are happy to share with our guests. ⸻ Relaxation all year round In winter, the area turns into a paradise for snow lovers – nearby there are numerous ski slopes, ski schools, and trails for winter walks. Children love to go sledding down the hills surrounding the house. In summer and autumn, Podhale encourages hiking, cycling, trips through the Tatra valleys, and discovering local flavors. In the evening, you can light a real fireplace and simply enjoy the peace and quiet. ⸻ We look forward to welcoming you We didn't create this place as an accommodation facility. First, it was our family home. Today, we are happy to open its doors to guests from all over the world, hoping that they will feel at home here during their stay. Guest access Parking is available on the fenced property of Rancho Zaliński. In winter, in the event of heavy snowfall, it may not be possible to drive to the house. In this situation, we provide free parking on the main road (about 150m from the house). Other things to note The hot tub is available for an additional fee of PLN 200 per day. Sauna PLN 100/day. For stays of a minimum of three nights, the price is determined individually each time. Please review the rules. Use of the hot tub and sauna is equivalent to acceptance of the terms and conditions. Please let us know if you want to use the hot tub at least 6 hours in advance. Please let us know your approximate check-in time when you book, and contact the property one hour before you arrive to exchange keys.
