IZUMIYA HOSTEL OGAWA is located in Ogawa-machi in Kumamoto, right next to Ogawa Aso Shrine. 30 minutes by walk from JR Ogawa Station. 40 minutes by car from JR Kumamoto Station and Kumamoto Airport. Free parking and discounts for longer stays are available. The owner lives downstairs and speaks English, if you need any help just let me know! Izumiya, a house hostel in Ogawa-machi, Uchi, Kumamoto Prefecture. We renovated the old private house right next to Ogawa Aso Shrine with DIY. It's a 30-minute walk from JR Ogawa Station.About a 40-minute drive from JR Kumamoto Station and Kumamoto Airport. Parking is free and discounts for long stays. The landlord lives on the first floor, so we will take care of anything! The space The kitchen, dining, coworking space, shower room and toilet are on the first floor. On the second floor, there are three rooms. The north and south rooms are guest rooms partitioned by a curtain with the center room, which is used as a common space. The shared space on the ground floor includes a kitchen and a dining area, a coworking space, a bathtub and a toilet. There are 3 rooms with 6 tatami mats in the accommodation space on the second floor.The two north and south rooms are guest rooms, and the room in the middle is a common space.Guest rooms and shared spaces are separated by curtains. Other things to note I live with my boyfrined and we started to have a cat in my private room from 2026. My cat likes to watch outside from dining/kitchen room so several times a day we let him stay in the dining/kitchen room (it's shared space).
