The lake hut

We welcome you to our lake cabin. It is located in an absolutely secluded location, on the fish-rich lake Skäggvattnet, with a fantastic view over the lake. It's a real wilderness cabin. Rest and relaxation are guaranteed. A place for those who love to be outside to enjoy nature. Be prepared for no electricity and running water in the cabin. But you are in the middle of the wilderness of Lapland. Your only neighbors are the moose, who bathe in the lake from time to time. The space Our lake cabin offers everything you need. The cabin is right on the lake. Dreamlike sunrises over the lake can be seen from there. Directly from the cabin you can observe the wildlife of Lapland, whether large groups of black grouse or the occasional moose that comes to swim in the lake. From the sauna you can see the lake and it is still 15 m to jump into the lake. The wooden terrace in front of the cabin invites you to sunbathe and the large dining table is suitable for eating together under the open sky. Right next to it is the fireplace for cozy campfires. It is an absolutely quiet piece of land, surrounded by trees and directly on the fish-rich lake Skäggvattnet, where there are plenty of large pike and perch and whitefish. There is no electricity and no running water in the cabin, no bathroom, no gas /electric stove and no Wi-Fi. An outdoor toilet is located behind the cabin. A room with a shower and sink, washing machine and dryer, sockets is located in the shed of the main house 1.5 km away. A washing area with a stainless steel table for cleaning caught fish can also be found next to the shower room. Firewood can be obtained in the carport of the main house. Free Wi-Fi is available at the carport at the main house. All this means that you will find peace and quiet and plenty of time for the beautiful things in life such as fishing, sauna, hiking, reading, picking berries and mushrooms or in winter experiencing life below zero, snowshoeing, experiencing the northern lights, grilling at the fireplace and doing all the things that make Lapland a great place for nature lovers from all over the world. This cottage is the perfect place for a maximum of 6 people who want to discover themselves in the same way and explore the Scandinavian wilderness. We are always available and can help in an emergency and are happy to help with any questions. In our cabin is a cozy wood stove, an outdoor barbecue and a fireplace. Three cozy bunk beds 90 x 200 cm ensure a good night's sleep. Pillows and blankets are in the cabin. Please bring your own bed linen and sheets (bed linen and towels can be rented for SEK 200/person) A large rowboat belongs to the cabin and can be used. What we provide is firewood and fresh drinking water, this can be obtained at the house Skäggvattnet at the shed and in the shower room. Guest access In summer, you can drive by car to the hut. In winter you can park the car on the street and walk about 200 m to the hut. Other things to note Guests clean the cabin themselves on departure. Cleaning supplies are in the cabin. A cordless vacuum cleaner can be found in the shower room. Please bring your own bed linen. Bed linen and towels can also be rented for SEK 200 per person. Pets are allowed, but are not allowed on chairs, beds or blankets. (Dog droppings must be removed) Sockets for charging the mobile phone batteries are available in the shower room at the shed of the house Skäggvattnet. There is free Wi-Fi at the carport of the house Skäggvattnet. Behind the shed there is a washing area with running water for cleaning fish, which can be used. Next to it is the shower room, in which there is a shower and sink, washing machine and dryer and sockets for charging cell phones. This room may be used. Excellent fishing on the lake. A large rowboat is available. Good places for mushrooms and berries on the property. Good opportunities for animal observation (moose, wood grouse, black grouse). The property borders state land in the mountains where you can buy hunting and fishing permits. This is several hundred thousand hectares of small game and fishing land.
