BnB on Grace Street - Modern 2-Bedroom Guest Suite

Welcome to Bnb on Grace Street in the charming Old Irving Park neighborhood, in one of the original homes built in 1893! Our private guest suite is modern and recently renovated while highlighting original features of the home such as the exposed brick walls. It's just 2 blocks from a major highway and from the El Train blue line, from which you can travel into downtown or out to O'Hare Airport. The suite includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchenette/dining area, and living room. The space Our private guest suite is located in the lower level of the house, which is partially below ground. It has its own private entrance on the side of the house, a dedicated parking space on the property, and a private outdoor patio. The space is modern and recently renovated but features the original exposed brick of the 130-year-old building. KITCHENETTE The kitchenette comes equipped with a sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, blender, toaster, dishes and cutlery, and basic cooking supplies. The kitchenette does NOT include an oven or full stovetop, but it's stocked with a portable countertop 1-burner induction stove as well as an electric griddle, so guests can do some basic cooking. LIVING ROOM The living room includes a comfy sectional couch. The wall-mounted Roku Smart TV allows guests to sign into their accounts on popular streaming apps (Netflix, Disney+, HBOMax, Amazon Prime, etc.). 2 BEDROOMS This suite includes 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed and includes a nightstand and reading lamp on each side of the bed. The room also comes equipped with a luggage rack, mirror, and box fan for guests' convenience. Guests have access to one side of the closet to store their personal items. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a twin top bunk and full bottom bunk. The bunk bed can accommodate up to 3 guests, as long as they do not surpass the weight capacity (200 lbs on top bunk, 450 lbs on bottom bunk). This bedroom also includes a luggage rack, mirror, box fan, armchair, and desktop that can be folded up and down. Guests can use the large closet to store their personal items. The closet is stocked with a few additional amenities including a portable crib, ironing board, and iron. PARKING Airbnb guests have 1 dedicated paved parking spot right next to the main driveway of the home. The neighborhood also has ample free street parking to easily accommodate parties with multiple vehicles. A Level 2 Wallbox EV charger is available on the property. Please notify the host if you anticipate wanting to charge your vehicle so that you can coordinate charging times. OUTDOOR SPACE There is a small patio just outside the door of the Airbnb that guests are welcome to use. It has a small table and 2 chairs. Additional camp chairs are available upon request. Guest access Public Transportation: This Airbnb is just 2 blocks from the Irving Park stop on the El Train blue line, which runs south to downtown, passing through the trendy Logan Square and Wicker Park neighborhoods. The blue line also runs north directly to O'Hare airport. Driving: This Airbnb is located just 2 blocks from a major highway (I-90) which provides quick access south to downtown and north to O'Hare airport.
