Syrah 6-person gîte in the heart of the vineyards - Carcassonne

Our family vineyard, nestled in the Minervois countryside, welcomes you a stone's throw from the Canal du Midi and the gates of the Cité de Carcassonne. You will be in the heart of the vineyard: a real haven of peace and the ideal place to rest and unwind. Our check-in times are from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Beyond that, our employees are no longer present, and we have to call on an external service provider, which requires us to charge a surcharge. The space Our Syrah cottage, in a fully renovated old winegrower's house, accommodates up to 6 people and includes: On the ground floor: A private terrace, with pergola, deckchairs, garden furniture and barbecue. A living room area with fireplace, TV and sofa. A dining area with table and chairs; An open equipped kitchen, with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster. A suite with double bed 180 x 200 cm and bathroom with sink and walk-in shower. Separate WC. Upstairs: A suite with double bed 160 x 200 and bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A suite with 2 twin beds 100 x 200 cm (or double bed 200 x 200 cm) and bathroom with toilet, double sink and shower. You will of course find all the cooking utensils, tableware, household utensils and clothes rack necessary for a good stay. Washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron are available in the laundry room reserved for the cottages. For your comfort upon arrival, linen can be provided (disinfected and ironed) for an additional fee; the beds will be ready and you will have 2 towels per person (one large and one small). We have at your disposal: baby bed, high chair, if necessary, with surcharge. Guest access To get to us from the A61 highway: Toulouse - Narbonne direction: take exit 24 (Carcassonne Est) and follow D6113 towards Trèbes. Enter Trèbes (D610). After the bridge over the Canal du Midi, turn left and at the small roundabout take the D135 (towards Laure-Minervois) for about 5 km. The entrance to Château Borie Neuve is on the right side of the road. Narbonne - Toulouse direction: take exit 25 (Lézignan-Corbières) and follow D611 and D111, and join D6113 towards Marseillette. Drive towards Badens. In Badens, take the D157 then, on the right, the D235 (towards Laure-Minervois) for 1 km and turn left. Other things to note You can park your vehicle safely and free of charge in the fully enclosed parking lot of the estate. Internet access via Wi-Fi. The cottage is bordered by a landscaped park with large trees and a pétanque court. At the edge of the park, you will find, in the summer season, a 10x5 outdoor swimming pool to share, with a large terrace equipped with deckchairs and parasols. You can take beautiful invigorating walks or bike rides in the heart of the estate, between vineyards and scrubland. We have some bikes available to you. Let yourself be tempted by the discovery of our estate with a tasting of our wines, a visit to the cellars, among many other possibilities. We will be at your disposal for any advice on visits to our beautiful region, in addition to all the documentation available in our cellar/shop. Chateau Borie Neuve, a stone's throw from Carcassonne and in the heart of the Minervois and its many tourist attractions, is close to: - Canal Du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for superb walks, bike rides or boat trips; - Medieval City of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its famous blaze on July 14 as well as its Festival throughout the summer; - Giant Chasm of Cabrespine and the Limousis Cave - Cathar castles and abbeys (Caunes-Minervois, Lastours, Saissac, Lagrasse, Fontfroide...) - The area is full of great restaurants run by Michelin-starred chefs such as Gille Goujon, Franck Putelat, Jean-Marc Boyer. Airport 20 minutes away Sea 1 hour Toulouse 1 hour Spain 1.5 hours away Alone, with family, friends, or for a business trip, for a weekend or for a week or more, you won't have time to get bored. Come and enjoy an experience combining flavors, nature and a change of scenery.
