Large wooden cottage with view to Dalslands canal

If you love cozy comfort and would love to wake up with rooster crowing at sunrise, this is the place! In our old traditional wooden house you will have a lot of space to relax, with large kitchen and a living room, retro keyboard and chess corner. This is the oldest house in a small community by Dalslands canal. Close by is bathing and fishing places, sauna, food stores, vintage shops, the art university "Stenebyskolan", cultural activities in «Not Quite», moose- and activity park. The space This is the oldest and cozyest house in the area, situated between the village main road and Dalslands canal. The traffic is lowspeed and quite light. Close by there is a damb which you can cross to get to the facinating canal locks. If water levels occasioanlly are very high, there might  be some noise when water is let out through the damb. There is a small local store right across the road. If you have forgotten to bring something: Ask us if we can help. The house is an informal home with Nordic cottage standards. There could be some cozy clutter in the book shelf and home made solutions here and there, but we expect you to leave the place as clean and tidy as you found it. If you prefer us to clean for an extra fee of 600 - 1200 kr, you can ask us on forehand if it is possible at the time. NOTE: Bring your own sheets/duvet covers/ pillowcase (or sleeping bags), towels, food, soap and so on, as you would in a hostel. We provide pillows and blankets. NOTE for covers: The 120 cm beds have two seperate single blankets, not double blankets. PS: If you are a student interested in long time rent; get in touch for separate deals. Guest access OBS: If you are looking for a place for peace and recreation, this is it. If you are looking for a place to party, please look around for more suitable houses. The house consists of two large separate halves with separate entrances. You will have a whole huge guest area for your self, but: sometimes we need to use the other half of the house - even when we have visitors. If so, we will always let you know in advance. If we are there, you risk meeting us outdoors in the large garden. Otherwise, you will be left in peace and quite. PS: You do not have the right to access the private parts of the house, and we trust you to not violate our privacy. Easy parking close to the house. We also have a ordinary wall socket outdoors for charging el-cars - so it is possible to drive on … But: We have to charge you 100 - 150 kr extra for using it, depending on how much el you need. Other things to note See pictures for how the beds are arranged. - In bedroom 1, there is one large bed (120 cm), plus one single bed. - In bedroom 2 there is one large bed (120) with a single bed on the top. - In the hallway, there is a sleeping couch. - In bedroom 1, you will find two extra beds in the closet, to be placed where you want. The mattresses on these are thin.
