Wongalea - Comfortable Campsite Close to Farmhouse

Great camping spot for a family or small quiet group of friends without getting lost in the wild. Get some fresh air away from city sounds and lights and be with your own thoughts. There are plenty of kangaroos in the area to spot and on a clear night, you will get magnificent views of the Milky Way! This site is located 10 minutes from the Byaduk Caves and 20-30 minutes from Hamilton, Port fairy and Warrnambool. Note we have other spaces available for parties and large groups. The space This is a comftable, fenced-off area, perfect for pitching a tent. (A caravan can be parked nearby). The spot is sheltered by trees and adjacent to a farmhouse where our family lives. Access to a shower, toilet, laundry is available and there is a space for outdoor cooking and washing up. This is farmland so expect to see ducks, chickens and guinea fowl wandering around the house. Outside the fenced area there is plenty of space for walks, ball sports or flying a drone. Guest access Guests will usually be greeted by the host. Self-check-in can be arranged for late-night arrivals.
