Charming, high ceilinged classic 4 room apartment with lots of atmosphere in quite area, 2 minutes walk from Tivoli, 5 from Central Station, the Town Hall Square as well as hip Vesterbro and Islands brygge. Check out our photos of area. The space The apartment: Charming, high ceilinged classic 4 room apartment with many unique decorative details, high wainscots, lots of atmosphere. You will be a 2 minutes walk from Tivoli. 10 from Central Station and Town Hall Square. 5 min. in the other direction and you'll find yourselves at the new Copenhagen Harbor Bath and lively waterfront. You'll be with-in walking distance from most museums and tourist attractions, hip Vesterbro, ditto Islands Brygge as well as the historic city center. At the one end of out street we have the wonderful museum the Glyptotek and at the other the new waterfront Kalvebod Waves, a boardwalk with benches etc. The apartment is perfect for a family of 4, but easily sleeps 7. (2 double beds , 1 futon for 2 and a single bed). The apartment is 7 steps up from street level. No elevator. In the summer time, when we move to our allotment, we rent out this, our beautiful home. We'll be happy to supply you with insider tourist information for Copenhagen and the beautiful "the Kings Northern Zealand" (the whole area from Copenhagen until the Northern tip of Zealand). We are professional musicians and there's a piano in the living room, that you're welcome to use, though not to loudly after 9 in the evening. Though close to everything, the area is residential and very quite and peaceful, and one of the few areas in the inner-city where you are very likely to find a parking space for you car out side your windows. There's a large collection of books in English, as well as cd's, that you're welcome to make use of, if you handle them all with care. Guest access You will have 3 large rooms and 1 small + kitchen and bathroom with bath tub at your disposal. There're two rooms with double beds and a small room with a sofa bed for 2. In the living room there's a futon. Other things to note Parking in the inner city isn't cheap, but, with at term parking permit it will cost you 148 danish kroner per day (around 20 €). A term permit for 5 days can be obtained online. You can also park across the water (10 minutes walk from the apartment), then parking with the permit will cost you € 11,27 a day. Or, if you know you'll only use the car very little while you're here, you can park it by our allotment (which is where we stay during the summer) Parking here is free. That's a 50 minutes walk from the apartment (or 15 minutes on bicycle). Google "Public parking in copenhagen and see zones, prices and more (we're not alowed to share links here, for some reason).
