Casa Flamboyant is a space of tranquility, integrated with the nature of the Atlantic forest and perfect for relaxing and recovering energy. It has electricity, wifi and hot water. Two suites, plus a bedroom with two single beds, a living and reading room, a TV room, two dining areas and a full kitchen. It has a large outdoor area for walks, a natural pool with crystal clear waters, an outdoor table in a jabuticabeiras forest, a barbecue and a service area with a washing machine. The space The six-hectare property is located in Serra da Bocaina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was part of the colonial era of coffee planting and still maintains stone walls from the drying yards. The house's construction is centuries old, remodeled from a settler's house, made of adobe. Nestled in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, it has the landscape of an exuberant forest right in front of the house. All around, a lawn allows for beautiful walks that pass through jabuticabeiras woods or 24 different varieties of bamboo. A large table in the garden allows for outdoor dining. In front of the house, a deck offers the opportunity to have a glass of wine at night, under a starry sky or around a ground fire. A soccer field provides space for sports or physical exercise. The Xandoca River, which rises in the neighboring area, crosses the property with crystal clear waters and forms a natural pool that borders a large smooth stone where you can sunbathe and take refreshing dips amidst small waterfalls . Two hectares of sprawling Indian cane bamboo have, embedded within it, a deck for practicing yoga and meditation in an almost oriental setting. This bamboo is used by Bambuparque - a small workshop on the property, making products from this grass - which can also be visited by guests on weekdays. Experiences with stories and information about bamboo can also be hired. For bird lovers with their melodious songs and diverse colors, this is the opportunity to see the activity of these winged animals. Depending on the occasion, tanagers, finches, tanagers, bem-te-vis, thrushes, japuguassús, woodpeckers, hawks, jacús, toucans, saracuras and many others can be appreciated. In the flora, in addition to countless other trees, suinãs, mulungús, guapuruvús, cedars, jaboticabeiras, pitangueiras, lemon trees, guava trees, banana trees, and a beautiful sumaúma originating in the Amazon, are part of the landscape. Guest access The nearest town is Bananal with 10,000 inhabitants. A tourist resort from the time of the coffee barons, it still retains remnants of this era of the Brazilian nobility. From Bananal, on the SP-247 on Estrada do Sertão, there are only 8 km of asphalt to reach Estrada da Xandoca, the BNN-270. From there, it is 2 km of dirt road until you reach paradise, the Rivendel site, where Casa Flamboyant is located. With ample parking, close to the house, the property opens up to the curiosity of guests. Other things to note As it is a rural area, some precautions should be mentioned. There are wild animals and creatures, after all this is their space. Some are venomous, like snakes and spiders. It is recommended not to walk barefoot or with flip-flops through the bush. Do not put your hands under rocks or dark gaps. There has never been an accident but remembering is never too much. On a night tour, it is recommended to use a flashlight and a stick. Always look where you step and where you're going to sit. The water of the Xandoca River is pure, therefore drinkable, but it is forbidden to bring alcoholic beverages for bathing in the river. There has already been an unfortunate accident for violating this rule. When lighting the wood for the fire pit, avoid excess. Very high flames can cause an accident. In the city of Bananal (20 minutes away) you will find everything you need, but always remember that the shops close between six and seven in the evening. On Sundays, shops, pharmacies and markets are open until noon. Restaurants continue to receive customers.
