The wall of glass overlooking the ocean offers a front row seat to your 5 star view! From swimming, surfing, bodyboarding, and building sand castles, to relaxing steps away from the ocean with a cup of coffee or a cocktail, the possibilities are endless at this beach oasis. At the foot of the deck, above the sand and ocean is a private elevated landing of sand with a fire pit that is the quintessential place for watching the sun set behind the mountains of Catalina Island with a beverage or roasting s’mores with the kids. Of course no beach home is complete without an outdoor shower to gently wash the sand from between your toes! This home is family friendly with a pack n play and crib upon request, however it has not been child proofed and best for older children. In this lower unit of a duplex, you will also have ocean access along the side of our home. As the tide changes (low/high tide), so does the sand availability in front. The home is a short drive to world class dining, great hiking trails, Dana Point Harbor, San Clemente Pier, historic San Juan Capistrano, and much more! This gated community is quiet and private and we expect our guests to adhere to house rules and community policies regarding large gatherings(not allowed) and noise violations. Pets and smoking are also strictly prohibited at this residence. Special Notes*** Home was previously rented and adored by guests with an average 4.9 review rating. Now under new ownership, the home has brand new furniture, beds, bedding, TVs, and many other improvements that make this home a must stay! Amtrak runs along the active railroad track on the opposite side of Beach Rd & Pacific Coast Hwy but is brief and considered to be low noise level. Once scheduled, you will have access to this gated community to come and go as you please. Max of 8 overnight guests and 12 at all times. No unregistered overnight guests. The home has 2 designated parking spaces as well as free nearby public parking next to our community. We are available through the app as well as via text/call for emergencies. Private exclusive gated “Beach Road” community with 24/7 guard patrolled. Free Parking. Uber, Lyft, Turo, bus, taxi and trolley (summer) are available. Many bike/pedestrian trails run along the nearby public beaches. Rental car companies minutes away. There is a direct bike/walking path from the neighborhood straight to Doheny Beach, Dana Point Harbor, and Baby Beach. There is also one that heads to down town San Clemente. *Home is the lower “on the sand” home of a duplex. Can rent both units lower/upper for a total of 6 BR/4BA.
