The property is ideal for couples wanting a cosy romantic break or families looking for a unique stay. Fully equipped with kitchen, toilet and shower and mezzanine bedrooms. The space The off street parking is at the front of the property next to your entrance gate. If you need charging for an EV we have a charge point at the property next door that is available for a locally payable charge. The lodge is in a private level garden laid to gravel with stepping stones. There is one step into the lodge. The entrance into the property is double doors but due to the style the height is restricted. Once inside the living bathroom and kitchen area are underneath the mezzanine floors and as such height is restricted, (approx 6ft 1” clearance) The kitchen has a two ring hob, a combi microwave with a Convection oven, a fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cafetière, pots and pans and cooking utensils. Guests will be provided with a welcome pack consisting of milk, tea, coffee & sugar. The bathroom has a large shower unit with sliding door, sink and toilet. The hot water to the lodge is provided by an instant inline water heater. Towels are provided for all guests as are liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. The living area has a settee. The wall mounted tv is connected to Netflix, Amazon & Disney + as well as digital freeview services. The electric heater is simply to operate with push button controls. If the nights are particularly chilly there is also a further electric radiator that can be used. Each mezzanine has a king size bed. The mezzanine areas both have restricted height access. One mezzanine is accessed by a spiral wooden stair case and the other by wooden ladders. All bedding is provided. The hot tub is wood fired and as such takes around 4-5 hours to heat up. We can provide a pre heating service for guests so that it is ready for your arrival for £20. Please notify us if you require the pre heating service. For the remainder of your stay we sell bags of logs at £9per bag. Please note that this is a hottub and not a spa so does not produce bubbles. Access to the hot tub is via two wooden steps No children to use the hot tub unsupervised. We would recommend that if bathing with children that the temperature is adjusted accordingly. Intoxicated persons are not to use the hot tub. The BBQ is incorporated in the fire pit with a grill. It is strongly recommended that charcoal is used for the BBQ. We accept cash bank transfer or card payments for all locally provided services. Guest access Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Bbq, Garden, Outdoor seating area Other things to note The property is near a railway line and trains normally pass once an hour, it is a branch line not a mainline service. The A64 (a single carriageway national speed limit road) runs parallel to the railway. There are dogs on the neighbouring property and you might here the occasional dog related noise but we will ensure this is kept to a minimum.
