the Orangerie

L'Orangerie is a pretty studio apartment in Le Vigan, at the foot of Mont Aigoual in the Cévennes National Park. A short walk to Le Vigan town centre, l'Orangerie is set in a shared garden overlooking olive and cypress trees. The apartment once housed orange and lemon trees to protect them from frost during the cold winter months. True to its original layout, the studio is a bright, open plan room with plenty of natural light streaming through powder blue shuttered windows. The space L'Orangerie consists of an open plan living room/bedroom, with a two-seater sofa and a large dining table. There is private bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and refrigerator. We're happy to add a crib, toddler bed or single mattress for guests who feel that three is merrier than two! Guest access You'll have your own set of keys and can come and go as you please through a shared entrance. L'Orangerie is a self-contained studio apartment in the same garden as our main home, just next door. Guests are more than welcome to roam about the garden, find an outdoor table to eat at (we have a few dotted about) or use the shared swimming pool. Other things to note l'Orangerie does not have wheelchair access. Our pool is a shared space and will be open from June to end of September.
