It is trendy, vibrant, very colourful and made exciting by a variety of different people, languages and cultures: a place where artists come to start new studios and younger generations develop new ideas. - 2 MINS WALK FROM RED METRO LINE: 6 stops to Duomo. - 30 secs from tram: 4 stops to Centrale train station Blazing fast WiFi. SatTV & Netflix. Air conditioning. The space The area is called NoLo. It is colourful and vibrant, with plenty of restaurants, pizzerias and bars. Whereas the apartment is very well connected to the rest of the town through public transportation, we strongly suggest you spend an evening hanging out in the neighbourhood and enjoy its character and charme. The apartment is composed of one bedroom with en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and a living room. A pack-and-play can be added upon request and extra fee. Dish washer, washing machine, phone chargers (both wireless and with cable), USB sockets, safety box, hair dryer, kettle for tea, toaster, iron and ironing board. Basic home cleaning supplies are also available. Let us know if you want us to arrange additional cleaning during your longer stays (extra fees apply). SMART WORKING. The table is equipped with a socket for PCs and USB slots for you to organize your work environment to perfection. Blazing fast WIFI. HOME ENTERTAINMENT: 4K TV with satellite access to over 1,200 International channels. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and NowTV available (Guests to provide their own credentials). NO KEYS and SELF CHECK-IN. Check-in at any time, day or night and access the apartment without touching common areas of the building for extra hygiene, convenience and peace of mind. CHECK-IN: after 17:00 CHECK-OUT: by 10:00AM A very big grocery store is conveniently located right across the street (it offers Amazon delivery). A number of smaller shops open until late at night is also available throughout the area. PLEASE BE ADVISED: (1) Only two burners (electric) in the kitchenette; (2) The apartment is luminous and airy, but the window opens on an internal courtyard: whereas this makes it very quite at night despite the lively neighbourhood, do not expect a fascinating view of the town; (3) An external surveillance camera is located OUTSIDE the apartment; (4) It is mandatory to separate waste in Milan: trash must then be thrown in separate recycling bins located in common areas of the building: €50 penalties apply in case of non compliance with regulation of the municipality on waste recycling; (5) In winter HEATING IS SET IN ACCORDANCE WITH MUNICIPALITY RULES AND WILL NOT BE MODIFIED. Please read the house rules and ask for details before you finalize your reservation. Guest access Guests shall have exclusive access to the entire apartment. One closet is dedicated to housekeeping/maintenance and is locked: Guests must not tamper with it. Other things to note Extra cleaning: €50. Extra linen/towel: €30 per set (set includes bed sheets, big towel and small towel). We implement self check-in, with keys replaced by key codes. This allows our Guests to check-in at any time (day or night) and to enter into the apartment without touching common areas of the building for extra hygiene and security. The interaction with the landlord can also be reduced to almost nihil. Self check-in and keyless comes free of extra charges. Please be aware that in accordance with local laws we need to identify our Guests (just like any hotel): accordingly, we ask you to send us a copy of your passport a few days prior to your arrival (which otherwise would need to be performed upon arrival and prior to your access to the apartment). We will perform the mandatory paperwork with Italian authorities and then send you the code to access the apartment on your check-in day. When you leave, just close the door behind you. Please note: - Codes become automatically active at 17:00 of your check-in date and become void at 10:00 am of your check-out date. Unfortunately, because in the past our cleaning personnel has been verbally and physically abused at their arrival on the check-out date, we instructed them not to ring and wait in the area until the apartment has been vacated. So please, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL OUR PERSONNEL ARRIVES: kindly leave the apartment before the check-out time unless specific arrangements have been made in writing on the AirBNB chat-line; - We will make our best efforts to accommodate your needs for an early check-in or a late check-out. Unfortunately this is not always possible: please understand that all our Guests deserve the same level of attention, kindness and punctuality and that we must take care of the health of the workers that do housekeeping and maintenance; - We will usually remind you to SEND US A COPY OF YOUR PASSPORT, but this is ultimately YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. If we do not receive the copy of your passport early enough we will not be able to perform the paperwork with Italian authorities which is mandatory and without which we will not send you the codes. In this case you will have to undergo a personal check-in: please read below. For the sake of hygiene we highly encourage self check-in. However, a personal check-in is also available, if you prefer to meet us or feel uncomfortable to send us a copy of your passport. PERSONAL CHECK-IN IS FREE OF CHARGE FROM 17:00 TO 19:00 OF ANY BUSINESS DAY. Please let us know in advance if you would like to profit of this service. Because a personal check-in outside regular business hours requires the presence of our employee, if you would like a personal check-in between 19:00 and 17:00 of a business day, week-ends (any time) or bank holidays (any time) a €100 fee applies: this must be paid in cash upon check-in. Please note that during personal check-in we will ask you to show us your passport. When we cannot allow early check-in or late check-out we try to organize luggage deposit with a lady living nearby. This comes for a €15 extra fee per day (or fraction): please understand that this service is not provided by us and may not always be available. Kindly bear in mind that although the apartment was renovated very recently, the building is still undergoing heavy renovation works. Some works have been given higher priority than others.
