A Hidden Gem near St Andrews+Golf, Uni & Beaches!

Welcome! Your holiday cottage is hidden away in a tiny village less than 5 miles along the coast from St. Andrews. A cosy wood fire, comfy beds, and homemade cake are waiting for you! Step outside onto the famous 'Fife Coastal Path' and explore miles of beautiful walking tracks. Being perfectly positioned close to the 'East Neuk' coast; it's the ideal base to discover all Fife has to offer - world class golf, sandy beaches, delicious local food, and an abundance of fresh sea air! Sorry, NO PETS. The space ☆Two upstairs bedrooms - with hotel quality beds, cotton linens, and bath towels. Bedroom 1: superkingsize bed (180cm wide). Bedroom 2: superkingsize bed (180cm wide) or two single beds (90cm wide). Optional cot (60cm x 120cm). ☆Cosy sitting room with a smart TV (BBC channels), books and a wood-burning stove (lots of kindling & logs included). ☆Fully equipped kitchen, plus a separate dining room with a dining table and a work desk. ☆Relax in the garden surrounded by wild flowers and birdsong: dine outside on the patio overlooking the fields or snooze on the sunloungers. All the while enjoying sunshine from sunrise till sunset!! ☆Only a 1km walk along a farm track straight to the sea. Follow the spectacular 'Fife Coastal Path' North to St Andrews, passing the famous 'Buddo Rock' or South to Kingsbarns, along red sandy beaches; we really can't decide which is our favourite! ☆Families with all ages of children are very welcome. There are stairgates, a baby bath, changing mat, potty, full-size travel cot with bedding, black out blinds, highchair, plastic plates/bowls/cutlery, and a fire guard. And most importantly... lots of toys, games, books, and an outdoor playhouse! Guest access ☆The cottage is in an elevated position. There is a set of 10 steps up from the road, a small footpath, and another few steps to the porch (please see photos). ☆There is space to offload your car on the roadside beneath the cottage. But (to allow tractors to pass) please park long-term in the communal parking bay. This is 2 minute walk away, and is free of charge. ☆ Please note that the bathroom has a shower with sloping headroom at one side, and the bath is 3/4 length. Other things to note ☆The semi-detached cottage and garden are entirely for your own use. (Only the first set of steps and the path leading to the front gate are shared with the neighbours.) ☆Please note that there is no EV charger at the cottage or in the village. The nearest public charging stations are 5 miles away in St Andrews. *The building has an approved license (FL 01507P) and is adherent regulations, including interlinked smoke and carbon monoxide alarms . It has a newly installed eco-friendly heat pump, solar panels and energy storage battery. *I am always very happy to answer any questions at all that you may have about the cottage, or surrounding area.
