In our house we rent a cozy room in the basement with large windows and a large TV. The room is ideal for 1-2 people or a small family (we are happy to provide a baby crib). The room was renovated last year. Next door is the bathroom with toilet, shower and sink for exclusive use. We don't stay downstairs during your stay. The house is very quiet. A kettle for coffee or tea preparation is there. The space You have a quiet room to relax. The forest 200 m away with the old castle ruin Heinrich der Löwe and the Gaussstein invite you to enjoy wonderful walks or bike tours. The newly opened Peak Hotel is 300 m away as the crow flies. You can also reach it on foot via a short steep ascent. By car, you drive a short serpentine 5 minutes through the forest. For weddings, etc., we will gladly bring you up and back down through the forest or come by taxi! 😉 For breakfast, you can visit a delicious bakery in Netto at the village entrance and for lunch or dinner, there are several German and Italian restaurants as well as beer gardens within walking distance. A Netto and a Pennymarkt are also nearby. The property is also ideal for fitters, as it is only 10 minutes from here to VW, Salzgitter AG/Flachstahl or Alstom. Braunschweig can be reached quickly by highway in 20 minutes and Hannover Messe in 35 minutes. Lake Salzgitter with its water ski resort and the Café del Lago or Jim's Beach Bar next to the pirate playground can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car or bus.
