The large and lush green property and neighboring horse stable lend a rural feel to the area, though you are right near all of the conveniences in Penfield. Inside you will find a cozy styled space that features: -Parking for Up to 2 Cars -Kitchen Stocked with Essentials -Bedroom with Full Sized Bed -Roku TV with Sign-In Access to your Subscriptions -Beautiful Back Porch with Rocking Chairs -Basement Laundry -Coffee (we provide a few k-cups- bring more if you'd like!) -Small Desk in Bedroom for Working (Or work at our kitchen table with a view of the beautiful 1 Acre property) -Pull-Out Couch in Living Room for Extra Guests (fee applies) When you arrive to the cottage, you will see that the driveway is shared with the neighbor next door. There is plenty of parking space right in front of the place (up to 2 cars please). *Note that the driveway is sloped significantly and could possibly present a challenge in the winter for cars that are not 4-Wheel Drive. *Also note that due to the slope, low lying vehicles can sometimes can scrape underneath when exiting the driveway. SUVs and trucks do not have an issue. We have tips for how to avoid this in our house manual. As far as physical interactions, we like to provide privacy. On the off chance that something needs to be fixed or replaced during your stay we may swing by ourselves or send one of our maintenance personal to remediate the issue. Our team is available by phone, text or booking platform. Our preferred mode of communication is via the booking platform you have selected. Several of us help to manage the communication so to ensure our most prompt response time, platform messaging is the way to go. Just a 6 min drive down Route 441 beyond the Village of Penfield, you'll reach the Intersection of Routes 441 & 250. Here you'll find commercial shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences such as the Post Office. The Cottage just 4 minutes beyond that intersection. ***Routes 441 and 250 will take you anywhere you need to go nearby!*** -Take 441 east to get to small towns of Walworth, Gananda, and beyond (6-8 min) -Take 441 west to get to the Village of Penfield for Food and/or Shops (7 min) -Take Rt. 250 south to get to the Quaint Village of Fairport and the Historic Canal (8 min) -Take 441 west to head in to the City (15 min) Fall is the best time to visit local farms nearby our cottage! Pick Pumpkins, grab donuts, cider, or shop at these nearby Farm markets! *Wickham Farms (4 min) *Oak & Apple Cidery (4 min) *Long Acre Farms (8min) *Thornbee Farm (8 Min) When you arrive to the cottage, you will see that the driveway is shared with the neighbor next door.
