Cottage in Hot Springs

This cute little cottage is bursting with charm and character. Nestled on a large tree-shaded lot right off the main channel of Lake Hamilton. The eat-in kitchen is stocked with everything you will need from pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices, coffee, tea, and more. Immerse yourself in Hot Springs' architecture, art, & history as the cottage is just a few miles from downtown shopping, restaurants, Bathhouse Row, Northwoods Trails, and Hot Springs National Park. The space Perfect couples retreat - When you arrive you'll be in love with the large front deck which looks out to the lake and your own private fire-pit table. You'll enter into the large open concept living room kitchen/dining area. A full-size sofa and oversized chair w/ottoman to get comfy in - with fluffy/soft throws to cuddle under. The house has one VERY large bedroom, the bedroom leads directly into the kitchen and does not have a traditional door but instead has heavy black-out curtains. There is plenty of closet space and luggage racks (with a connected hamper for your worn items) if you want to be a bit of a vagabond and just live out of your suitcase during your stay. A full-size laundry is also available to do a quick load of laundry (located in the bedroom closet - detergent and softener provided). Guest access The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of real-life and enjoy some downtime in our peaceful retreat. Lake access is just across the street at the private community park with a swim platform and picnic area - a great place to go fishing! The cottage is in an off the beaten path neighborhood, yet it is just minutes from the shopping, dining, and tourist attractions that Hot Springs, has to offer. The community parks (across from the house and just down the street) are for residents only, we will provide a key and instructions for access. Plenty of off-street parking (not covered - no garage) in the driveway and behind the cottage. Other things to note Some people purposefully seek out PET-FREE homes. This IS a pet-free home. An additional cleaning charge of $250 will be collected if it is found that you allowed pets, which is against the house rules. Smoking and vaping (of any kind - including Medical Marijuana) will also incur a $250 remediation fee. Checkout time "may possibly" be pushed a little later, if it is discussed in advance, if not there will be a $150 fee for re-booking our cleaning crew if guests have not departed by 10:30 am on the day of check out. Winter lake draw down takes place for the months of November through February. Lake management typically lowers the lake 3-5 feet. This will expose the lake bed in shallow areas.
