House is on a very quiet street and has vacant land on two sides, so it feels very private. The landscaping is naturalistic and wild with a large Japanese maple and flowering fruit trees. Dark skies and bird songs make It a nature lovers dream, but still close to everything! The entire backyard has a pool fence now which means if you have a dog, you can let him or her off leash and not worry :) Note: We have taken great care to restore this 1964 classic ranch home and fill it with beautiful period furniture, books, records, classic stereos/speakers, rugs and art. As an example we painted the original cabinetry but we replaced the original Formica kitchen and bathroom counter tops with new Jonathan Adler designed Formica. We think it looks amazing. If you like nostalgic 1970s themed homes (with new appliances, new pool and new windows) you will love our home. Rest assured: the wifi is excellent! Sleeps up to 8 adults plus extra mattress fit in bedrooms for children. Gorgeous light hardwood parquet floors and warm wood paneling throughout. The casement windows let in lots of light and open to let in lovely breezes. Lots to do rain or shine and the home is very well appointed. Bathrooms have large white bath towels, robes and colorful beach towels. All bedrooms have cozy duvets. The kitchen, which opens into the living dining room, is well stocked for the chef and baker in your group! Bar is complete with wine and champagne glasses, tumblers, cocktail shaker, glass punch bowl, etc. Re Games -- Football, Tennis Rackets (courts near by), Badminton, Frisbee. - all for you to use. Relax on teak deck chairs, snooze on the hammock, take an outdoor shower day or night and soak in the Jacuzzi. Indoors, besides listening to records or your phone/tablet music on the stereo, you can play piano and various percussion instruments, Ping Pong, Playing Cards, Chess, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Risk, Othello, etc. In addition, the retro basement media room has cozy furniture and eclectic rugs, stereo and 4 floor-speakers, another record player, and a flat screen TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or YouTube. A/C mini splits in living/dining room, basement media room, and cabins 2 and 3. Cabin 1 has portable AC unit and Cabin 4 has an AC window Unit. Home is cheery with lots of sunlight during the day through fabulous new casement and awning windows. Home feels very chill in the evening with soft lighting throughout on dimmers.
