Your own room with private adjoining ensuite (walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin), one DOUBLE bed plus one optional SINGLE trundle-type mattress that pulls out at floor level on carpet. For longer term extra guest, single mattress can be set up on bed frame. Your room has TV with DVD player and a small roll-away desk and chair. Reverse cycle heating and cooling. Bed linens, towels, basic toiletries and hairdryer provided. Secure on-site parking in basement, swipe-card entry to building, a balcony with pleasant view for relaxing or outdoor dining. Open plan dining/living room with Cable TV and DVD. A fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, oven, microwave is available for your use. A self-serve express breakfast of juice, cereal, toast and spreads, tea and coffee is provided. Dine indoors or on the covered balcony. My apartment is a great base from which to explore all that Southeast Queensland has to offer. Walk 5 mins to the Chermside Bus Interchange and the huge Westfield Shopping Centre with its food court, restaurants, cinemas and department stores. Cross the street to the public library, swimming pool, water park, and the Kedron-Wavell Services Club, behind which is a lovely, large park with walking tracks and exercise stations. A smaller park with a walking track is two blocks up the street. It's a short ride by bus or car (or walk) to Prince Charles and Holy Spirit Hospitals, a 25 minute drive to the airport (30 at peak period), a 25 min bus ride (12km) to Roma Street Transit Centre and the City. centre, and a few minutes more to continue on and cross the beautiful Brisbane River to the Convention Centre and the Cultural Centre (performing arts, museums). From the Cultural Centre bus stop, it's a pleasant walk to Southbank, where you can take the City Cat up and down the Brisbane River. Easy access to the highway north to the Sunshine Coast and south to the Gold Coast. If you require transportation, I can often pick up and/or drop off at BNE airport, or bus/train, with advance notice, for a modest fee. Please enquire. Check-in and check-out times are flexible if there are no other arrivals/departures that day. Please note that the apartment overlooks a street that is generally quiet at night, but there is occasional road noise, so if you are highly sensitive to noise at night, you may want to take this into consideration.
