Both properties are on the edge of the farmyard, near to farm buildings and our neighbour’s home and horse fields. It is accessed by car or bike as there is no public transport to the property. The nearest railway station is in Huntingdon, 11 miles (approximately 20 minutes away). The nearest shops are in Sawtry, 2 miles away. We can suggest Taxi companies if required. There is adequate private parking for up to 10 cars, behind the farmhouses' own gate. Other things to note The Old Farmhouse adjoins our smaller holiday home, known as The Maid's Cottage. If you are looking for extra room, the cottage provides a separate living, dining and cooking space as well as a full bathroom, bedroom with king sized bed and its own hot tub, in its enclosed garden. There is a double sofa bed for additional guests. As the gardens are separated by a high fence, booking The Maid's Cottage additionally provides you with extra privacy from noise, even if you don't require the additional space. When the two properties are let together gates in the garden are opened and guests can move between the two via the patios. If you do decide to book The Old Farmhouse alone, we would ask that you are respectful to your neighbours, with limiting noise outside into the evening especially after 10pm. We accept 2 well behaved dogs (no puppies) and no other pets. We ask that dogs stay downstairs, off the furniture and are not left on their own in the farmhouse for prolonged periods of time.
