The space Swan Lodge offers a private, luxurious, romantic space for couples to relax and reconnect. Enjoy a spa in the woods with your private covered hot tub, and outdoor cinema experience under the stars, fluffy bathrobes and towels, a wood burning sauna with views out to the duck pond beyond and massage treatments in the beautiful yurt. Enjoy the woodland at night with magical lighting, starry skies and the hooting of the owls. Guest access Guests have access to the 2 acre woodland with private seating by the canal to watch the beautiful sunsets, fishing or just watching canal life pass by. Swan Lodge has its own large garden area with private, covered hot tub, picnic table, firebowl BBQ and a large, feature, daybed that rotates to follow the sun. Guests can book private sessions in the wood burning sauna, aromatherapy steam room and the indoor BBQ cabin (all included in the price) as well as massage treatments or private dining in the yurt (this is an extra). The Hawthorn Hideaway Duo Deluxe Couples massage is particularly romantic, with 2 therapists so you can enjoy the massage at the same time. There is a rowing boat to hire, a gorgeous, romantic way to enjoy the Chesterfield Canal. Other things to note £100 damage deposit, will be pre-authorized the week before arrival. Included in the price of your stay is a generous welcome breakfast hamper, starter pack of logs and private use of the BBQ cabin, sauna and steam room. A complimentary bottle of prosecco with all December 2025 stays and Valentine 2026. Valentines Package - 8th to 15th Feb 2026 - includes a welcome bottle of prosecco, rose petals and roses on the bed, a box of artisan locally handmade valentines chocolates and the yurt is dressed with the 6ft heart shaped arch with fairy lights and over 50 candles (this is normally £270) for massage treatments and private dining. Massage and chef dining are an extra charge and subject to availability.
