Enjoy the woodland at night with magical lighting, starry skies and the hooting of the owls. Enjoy the magic of being on the water with regular visits from the resident ducks and swans and watching the amazing sunsets from your private garden area. The boat has eco friendly features such as a modern electric, heated composting toilet, solar panels and recycling of the hot tub water for irrigation of woodland trees. Full central heating and a cosy log burner to stay cosy all through the year. Guest access Guests have access to the 2 acre woodland as well as their own private garden area seating by the canal to watch the beautiful sunsets, fishing or just watching canal life pass by. The garden area also includes a private, covered hot tub, picnic table, firebowl BBQ and large, feature, hanging Tiipii daybed we views out to the canal and countryside beyond. Guests can book private sessions in the wood burning sauna, steam room and the indoor BBQ cabin (all included in the price) as well as massage treatments and a private dining experience in the yurt (this is an extra cost). The Hawthorn Hideaway Duo Deluxe Couples massage is particularly romantic, with 2 therapists so you can enjoy the massage at the same time. Other things to note The Price is for static hire only. Self drive and skippered hire are available at an additional cost. No previous experience is needed, full training is provided. Included in the price of your stay is a generous deluxe breakfast hamper, indoor or outdoor cinema experience, starter pack of logs and private use of the BBQ cabin and sauna and steam room. A complimentary bottle of prosecco with all December 2025 and valentine week stays. Valentines Package - 8th to 15th Feb 2026 - includes a welcome bottle of prosecco, rose petals and roses on the bed, a box of artisan locally handmade valentines chocolates and the yurt is dressed with the 6ft heart shaped arch with fairy lights and over 50 candles (this is normally £270) for massage treatments and private dining. Massage and chef dining are an extra charge and subject to availability.
