Description

You're invited to enjoy our safe urban retreat- hidden in plain sight- a wooden cabin, located next to City Cabin in the vibrant Liguanea area. Reconnect with nature, enjoy amazing mountain views, stroll through our verdant garden and listen to birds at day and creatures at night. The perfect base for exploring the Bob Marley Museum, Devon House, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, supermarkets some within walking distance, others a short ride away. Welcome, be our guest, we'd love to host you! The space The soaring ceiling with its gently pitched, dark stained, exposed cedar beams, unites the kitchenette with the dining. A trio of clerestory windows blurs the boundary between interior and stunning garden views. Morning sunlight flooding in, neighbor to 'City Cabin'. Paneled white washed boards, act as backdrop for the living room. Relax, watch TV or enjoy the tranquility, the sofa bed can sleep an additional 2 guests, additional cost applies. Plants are dotted around to enhance the space and improve air quality. Next to a full size bathroom which also affords the experience of stepping outside into an invigorating outdoor shower. The conch shell showerhead and surrounding palm and heliconia plants complete an insta worthy snapshot. The bedroom is upstairs, in a queen size bed, drift off next to our local artist's impression of our garden blooms and foliage. Watch smart TV or enjoy garden and hill views while still in bed. Fixed glass window streams natural light, allowing snippets of mountain views and cloud watching. Open your door, let the outdoors in, step onto your private patio. Exhale, read a book, enjoy your morning coffee, work remotely or just sit and embrace the experience of sitting up in a mango tree with mangoes at your fingertips when in season. Experience our beautiful, culturally rich, home of reggae and dancehall music, vanguard of the Caribbean, Jamaica, while staying at City Nirvana. Guest access Getting a cab/ taxi is very easy, just a call away. The bus stop is less than 4 minutes walk from your cabin. If you want to travel to other parishes, let's say Portland for a day, we can arrange that. There is shared parking space. Other things to note This cabin along with the "City Cabin", another smaller 1 bedroom cabin are both nestled in our garden. Each cabin enjoys their own privacy. Cabin windows are screened however if doors are left open insects might get inside. If mosquitoes bother you, don't leave home without your repellant after all we're a tropical island. At times we experience low water pressure in our area which also affects the hot water supply. We provide parking but due to limited space sometimes cars have to be parked behind each other so you might be asked to allow another vehicle to get in or out. Only 1 vehicle per booking can be accommodated. If by chance you have a visitor unfortunately we won't be able to offer them parking inside so they'll have to park outside at their own risk Due to our central location we are within walking distance to many Kingston 6 local hot spots, including night entertainment. Kingston nightlife can get loud at times. The cabin is located under a mango tree so during 'mango season' sometimes the fruits will fall onto the roof creating a bit of noise. The sweet revenge is to enjoy them in a smoothie🍹
