Stay in a Small Double Bed in flat in a Church!
Description
The room (with a small double bed) and downstairs bathroom are in a church conversion at the back. It is located in a small ‘mews’ and looks out onto the spire through a Velux window. You will both sleep in a single small double bed (6" by 4"). The room is located within 5 mins walking distance from local shops and amenities, including a train station which is two stops away from Glasgow Central and close to buses 4, 5, 6. The owner, a female professional, may or may not be in. The space This lovely small double room (with a 6" by 4" bed) has an en suite/jack and jill shared shower room, and your toilet and sink is located in the bathroom downstairs which has a roll top bath. What is a small double bed? The difference between a small double bed vs double bed mattress is that it is 6 inches narrower than a standard double bed mattress. A small double bed is 4 ft wide and 6 ft 3' long. Whereas, a double bed mattress is 4 ft 6' wide and 6 ft 3' long in imperial measurements. Guest access There is free on-street parking on Queen's Drive and the property is near a lovely park: Queen's Park. The neighbourhood has beautiful tenement flats, as well as small Sainsbury's and Tesco's, a Lidl (10-15 mins walking distance) and an organic supermarket (opposite Lidl, called Locavore). There's a train station (Queen's Park), which is two stops away from Glasgow Central Station (3 an hour, at 10 mins past, 20 mins past, and 50 mins to the hour), as well as multiple bus stops (buses 4, 5 & 6 go into the city centre and are every 10-15 mins). There are lots of lovely coffee shops, bakeries and eateries nearby in this bustling, multicultural, hipster-style area. Other things to note You are welcome to use the monsoon shower in my bathroom, but please use the toilet and sink in the downstairs bathroom only.
