The Buckshot Bunkhouse is located on 2.6 acres of lush desert property. If you wish to enjoy the Tucson desert this is the place for you. Enjoy the views of the Catalina mountains out the north windows of the house or bird watch on the front patio. We are located just outside the hustle and bustle of the city in a gated neighborhood. This is the perfect getaway just out of town but still close to hiking trails, golf courses, cycling routes, restaurants, grocery store and shopping amenities! The space Our 2 bedroom & 1.5 bath guest house is 1,300sqft and open concept. It is located at the back of the property down a paved driveway. The guest house has amenities of your own home including fully stocked kitchen and a washer& dryer. The guest house has a front patio with fenced in yard. 35 minutes to Tucson international airport. 30 minutes to the University of Arizona and downtown area. 10 minutes to Saguaro National Park East for hiking trails. 2 golf courses within 4 miles. Restaurants and grocery store within 1.5 miles. Other things to note Our home is family friendly, please don’t hesitate to ask for anything you might need for your children and we will try to accommodate. Pack n plays and high chairs upon request. Our property is an equestrian property but we do NOT have horses at this time. The horse facilities, upon availability and request can be booked for an additional cost. Please inquire ahead of time. If you are not renting the horse facilities during your stay they are off-limits. Please note this is a rural area, wildlife is present including javelina, ground squirrels, coyotes, spiders, scorpions, snakes, Gila monster, etc. Please pay attention to your surroundings while entering and exiting the property especially at night when visibility is low and when most desert wildlife is active. Please do not leave food or trash outside. Avoid wildlife if you encounter them on the property.
