Rental unit in Evanston

Charming, homey, SHARED (with me and other guests) apartment with porch, hardwood floors ideal for artists, professionals, healers, parents, students. Right in the heart of Evanston near library, Whole Foods, beach, coffee, parks, restaurants, public transit, and more. One can walk practically anywhere from here. Quiet, private bedroom with TV, desk, full bed and lovely view. Room CANNOT be locked from the outside because it is against fire regulations but yes from inside. Very safe. Welcome! The space I will not accept a reservation without a brief description of who you are and your purpose in staying. Also, ID must be presented at the door. Thank you for your understanding: The room is very peaceful, private and comfortable with lovely view. This SHARED apartment and is more homey than fancy. Although I DO have some things stored in the closet, there is still plenty of dresser, desk and closet space for your things. If you do not see the consecutive days you want, PLEASE message me to see if I have a room availble!! I will waive the cleaning fee for such a change of rooms. There is a little trick to the front door key. One must push it in then pull out a tiny bit and turn to the right. Straight key for downstairs, notched one for apartment. If you have any issues while you are here, please communicate with me directly! Guest access Kitchen, porch, living room, bathroom. During your stay I am always available for questions. Other things to note Please read and accept all descriptions, fees and guidelines before requesting to book! Shoeless please, slippers provided. Guests are allowed with notice. Cooking is permitted. No trump supporters or fundamentally unhappy people. The price reflects elevator accessibility, convenience, peaceful vibe and location. Some funky antique furniture, I feed the birds and squirrels, have a varied and eclectic garden and collection of family photos, instruments and art. We are not the Ritz but the pad is full of warmth. If you are here to visit Chicago, please do not reflect negatively in the rating. This is ideal for visitors of Northwestern, SPACE etc. The main lock is tricky. You must put the key in all the way, pull it out slightly and turn to the right. Washer and dryer are in the guest bathroom. Kangen alkaline water. We keep the apartment around 73. We try to make your stay as comfortable, pleasant and productive as possible. There are board games, books and beach towels and hats. Anything you need, don’t hesitate to ask. PLEASE communicate while you are here rather than leaving unkind comments.
