Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. River view cottage is nestled up on a hillside with beautiful views of the Susquehanna river and Pequea creek. Come relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, the magical sunsets with multiple outdoor seating areas, flower gardens and an outdoor fire pit. The cottage is tucked back in on 5 acres allowing for full privacy. The cottage was built in the 1950s and has a unique, charming character for you and your family/friends to enjoy! The space The cottage is located just across from Susquehanna river/lake Aldred with beautiful river views. 25 minutes from downtown Lancaster, 30 minutes from Strasburg, sight and sound & tourist areas, 30 minutes to tanger and rockvale outlets. Pequea is a small quiet country setting where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Bring your kayaks or canoe and enjoy the beautiful lake. If you have a motor boat please let me know and we can try to accommodate you as well. Guest access You will need your own car to get around and ideally an AWD or 4WD during the winter months due to the steepness of the driveway. Otherwise the rest of the year any car will do.
