Lovely, yet quiet and peaceful, a 2 bedroom cottage a stone's throw away from St Davids Cathedral and St Davids city centre with pubs, restaurants, supermarket and all the amenities you would need. This peaceful location has stunning countryside and distant sea views. Penlan Cottage is one of two semi-detached stone cottages, in what was the old farmhouse and cottage. It is set down a quiet lane just above St Davids Cathedral. Sink into your countryside surroundings, chilling out on the sunny patio or in a cosy armchair before getting dressed up and walking into St.Davids for dinner. While this cottage is the smaller of the two, it is laid out in a way that gives everyone their own space. The choice of lounges downstairs lends the cottage to a holiday, where some may want to settle down to watch a film, and others curl up with a book. A well-equipped kitchen with a farmhouse feel and dining table creates the perfect space for you to come together over a holiday meal. Penlan Cottage enjoys a beautiful spot with all the peace of the countryside just a 10-minute stroll away from the centre of St Davids. Enjoy the cafes, restaurants and independent shops in this tiny city, or drive to Caerfai for a picnic and a dip. Both living room and sitting room have electric log burning stoves and one has a smart TV and DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. There is also ample free parking and wifi. Double Bedroom – with double bed and ensuite toilet and wash handbasin Kingsize Bedroom – with kingsize bed Shower Room – with shower cubicle, 1 step up, wc and washbasin Outside: Enclosed rear garden with patio area and outdoor table and chairs to enjoy dinner alfresco. Slope up to the grassed area. Grounds to the front of the property are shared with Penlan Farmhouse next door. Parking: There is ample parking on the yard outside Penlan Cottage and Farmhouse Local Facilities: Beach just 2 miles away (7-minute drive). St. Davids with all facilities just 0.5 miles – walking distance Guest access The property is yours for your stay and we won't disturb you. However, we live in St Davids and are on hand should you have any issues during your stay. Other things to note This is a pet free property. Sorry no dogs. The front large grassed area is shared with Penlan Farmhouse next door. Your own private enclosed garden is to the rear of the property. Maximum occupancy is 4 to include babies and infants. Minimum age 21.
