Les Régniers, a gentle break in the countryside

Warm old stones in a peaceful and comforting environment, welcome to our home in Les Régniers! Our family welcomes you with heart and smile to the land of wine and castles. The "small cottage 33" is an old winery transformed into a cozy, atypical and authentic little house. It is a soothing cocoon in the heart of a village hamlet surrounded by vineyards and forests. Disconnect and/or discover the region, our philosophy is "we enjoy and we take the time"! The space This small cottage called "le 33" has long been a storage place for wine and food reserves. It has been transformed into an atypical, cozy, peaceful and charming little house. A real little cocoon! ORGANIZATION OF THE HOUSE: • living room kitchen / living room • Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet • alcove BEDROOM 1 on the ground floor (no outside window) with double bed 140cm • BEDROOM 2 with double bed 140cm upstairs • mezzanine with sofa bed (rather for small sizes) and upstairs desk This cottage has retained elements of its history. A passage on the ground floor, and a reduced height upstairs may force some guests to lower their heads, and the miller's staircase may seem a little steep. Outside: The courtyard is the entry point to the cottage. Push the gate and discover an enclosed and green space full of charm, with furniture and barbecue. The garden is separate and fenced, ideal when you have little ones, no stress for the pool! Just cross in front of the cottage and you enjoy a large wooded garden with swimming pool, bocce court, furniture and games, in short everything you need to relax and have fun! The pool is wooden, semi-buried (7x4m, total depth 1m40), treated with salt, not heated but exposed to the sun all day. Swimming depends on weather conditions (usually May/June to September). It doesn't allow training at the Olympics, but it's great to cool off or have fun. From November to March, depending on the weather, the garden is in winter (furniture and games tidy). The outdoor spaces are shared with another cottage (see map in the photos). The 2 cottages are rarely booked at the same time and I will let you know if that was the case. AMENITIES AND SERVICES • kitchen equipped with induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker • washing machine • fans (thick stone walls ensure a correct temperature in case of heat) • crib and baby amenities upon request • WI-FI • free private parking • beds made on arrival • 1 hand towel per person (remember to provide pool towels in season), no shower gel or shampoo (troubleshooting possible for short stays) AT OUR PLACE: We live right behind the cottages and put all our heart to welcome you to our home as friends. One hour from Bordeaux and 1.5 hours from Sarlat, the house is ideally located in the heart of the Bordeaux and Bergerac vineyards, between St Émilion, Bergerac and Duras. No shops or restaurants in the village (only a small bar and a baguette dispenser), but all amenities are in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, 6 km away. Dordogne is nearby and offers many opportunities for tours and activities. Other things to note No pets allowed due to allergies and cohabitation with those of our neighbors. Access to outsiders is not allowed, except with prior agreement of the landlord and within the maximum capacity of the lodges. Beds and mattresses can not be moved. Tents in the garden are not allowed. No smoking, ashtrays are available in the courtyard and garden. Electric vehicle charging impossible at the cottage. Terminals 6km away. We want to keep the place quiet and respect for the neighborhood. Parties are not allowed and it is requested to be vigilant on noise pollution from 22/23h.
