Our little cabin in Idyllwild is tucked away in the pines, inspired by those nights when you can't stop staring at the stars. Think deep blues, worn leather, and weathered wood - relax in stylish mountain comfort. ✶ THE CABIN ✶ One big, open room that does it all. The kind of place where you can cook breakfast while chatting with someone curled up on the couch. We've got a proper king bed (seriously comfortable), a wood stove that'll keep you toasty, and yeah, a TV for when you need it. The kitchen has everything you need—including this gorgeous Smeg fridge that we probably spent too much on, but it makes us smile every time we see it. Counter seating for two means coffee and crosswords in the morning and wine and cards at night. The best part? We left a few curated vinyl records. Spin some tunes, grab a blanket, and watch the fire—that's what this place is for. ✶ BATHROOM ✶ Your personal spa awaits in the bathroom, with floor-to-ceiling teal tiles that add a refreshing pop of color. It’s the perfect place to refresh and clean up after a day of mountain hikes or exploring Idyllwild. ✶ OUTSIDE ✶ This is why you're here. Private deck with a hot tub overlooking Strawberry Creek. Morning coffee spot? Check. Sunset wine spot? Double check. The view never gets old. Bonus: Wander down to Wyldwood Park below us. It's shared with the other Freewyld cabins with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. Bring a book, find a sunny rock by the creek, lose track of time. ✶ WYLD MODE ✶ We built this place to get away from screens and schedules. We stocked it with books, games, and everything you need to properly unwind. We call it "Wyld Mode" - it's basically permission to do nothing. Come see what Freewyld feels like. Stay a while. P.S. Your stay at Black Mountain entitles you to full, private access to the cabin and all its amenities during your visit. You can also enjoy shared access to the expansive 1-acre Wyldwood Park below the property, which includes outdoor dining, hammocks, and access to Strawberry Creek.
