Guest suite in Stone Ridge

Queer owned private 2 bedroom apartment with it's own entrance in Stone Ridge, NY. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs, full Bathroom with a bathtub for a good soak and a living room/dining area for relaxing after a long day of hiking. Guests have their own driveway and it is a short walk to the apartment door. The apartment is ideal for a couple looking for a weekend away from the city but can accommodate more. Centrally located just ten minutes from Stone Ridge. The space The apartment is chic and beautiful as we have collected antiques and textiles over the past 20 years. The space is free of personal belongings and is completely established to accommodate guests. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, fluffy down pillows and thick down comforter. Sheets are 100% crisp cotton in the summer and warm flannel in the winter. Each room has 2 cotton gauze bathrobes for comfort. There are standing fans in each bedroom to keep the rooms cool. The sun rises in the primary bedroom and living room windows and the space remains sunny and bright all day long. The view looks out into the trees and our our small meadow. It is a rejuvenating and peaceful space to stay. Please know we do not have televisions or a microwave. We can install up to 2 window AC units in the apartment upon guests request during the summer months. Guest access We are a 10 minute drive to the town of Stone Ridge which has a supermarket, year round farm stand, antiques store, bank, gas and all other amenities. Were 15 minutes from High Falls, 30 minutes from Accord and Lake Minnewaska and 45 minutes to Hudson. This region of upstate NY is stunning and lush all summer long and ideal for catching the fall leaves in autumn. Other things to note You are renting an apartment that is attached to a larger building where My wife and I live. The property is an old restaurant built in 1940 and the apartment was the original "owners apartment". We are both college professors, and artists. We live and work on the property. We are here if you need us but otherwise will leave you to enjoy your stay uninterrupted.
