Cook breakfast in our chef's designed kitchen before heading out to the dozens of local hikes, waterfalls, shopping & winery experiences. And when you're done, relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit with your loved ones gazing at the stars. The house comes with a Master bedroom (queen memory foam), Second bedroom (queen memory foam), has a brand new couch that transforms (full), and an extra bed in the nest for single sleepers (twin). Conveniently located on the outskirts of downtown Blairsville, you'll be provided with a locals treasure map of the area. The hot tub was purchased in 2021 and is brand new, we'll provide instructions for how to use. The outside fire pit area is a beautifully relaxing way to stay warm on a cool night. Firewood is recommended to be purchased before arriving at the many stores or side road stands. The indoor fireplace is fueled by propane, just turn it on and enjoy. The outdoor grill is a brand new Weber with 3 large burners and extra propane. There are 4 yoga mats, blankets, blocks and cleaner for guest use. We also have a partnership with an amazing local masseuse, if you're interested we can even schedule a massage at the house. See your instruction kit email prior to arriving. There are two parking areas on the property, an upper gravel parking area that can fit 2 cars (walk the mulch path to the front of the house), or a lower parking area just past the main lot, keep to the left and you will find a space behind the back deck. Other things to note The Black Birch is located in a residential neighborhood so you will be able to see our neighbor's homes from the property. We respect our neighbors and want to make sure that they can enjoy their peace, so please adhere to the 10 pm outdoor quiet hours on the property. When conditions are slippery or icy, we recommend 4-wheel/all wheel drive for the lower driveway. Because of the residential nature of the property, there are neighborhood dogs who might stop by and say hi from time to time. They are very friendly and roam around the mountains at their will like most dogs in the area. Say hi but please do not encourage them with food :) We are located at 2,000 ft elevation on top of a valley, so you will be able to hear cars passing on the nearby roads. We have 1 security camera facing away from the house on the parking pads to ensure the safety of our guests. No smoking is allowed on the property, please be respectful of this.
