However if you want you can visit the castle on foot (about 20 minutes). The nearest beach to the house is just five minutes on foot and the nearest organized beach is about 5 minutes away by car. There is a large supermarket in 5 minutes on foot and a mini market in 3 minutes on foot. The center of Monemvasia is at 5 minutes where you can find bar restaurants and the local market.
