We cannot accommodate infants, children, pets or parties, sorry no exceptions The space SPACE SUMMARY: The Whimsical High Peaks Compound consists of two separate private furnished studio units both with their own private exterior entrances and parking. They are attached to, but securely blocked off from, a main house (where I live) and each has their own bathroom and micro-kitchenette (not full kitchens, details below). In the 1st unit (aka: Solo Traveler Escape) large windows pierce the space, providing tranquil views from every vantage. Take in sunrise at morning and watch the moonrise at night right from your bed. The main house adjacent to the guest suites is owner occupied by me with 24/7 assistance available. Note that I have a friendly dog on the property. Please kindly review pictures to ensure you are comfortable with the layout. This space is ideal for up to 4 guests. SLEEP AREA + LIVING SPACE / BATHROOM Each space is an efficient open concept studio guest suite and each consists of one main room with living area and connected sleep space. Both beds are queen sized. Each suite has a full bathroom with shower. KITCHENETTES: The 2nd Unit (aka: Night Sky Niche) has a full kitchenette, while the 1st Unit (Solo Traveler Escape) has a micro-kitchenette. The setups of each kitchenette are as follows: The Night Sky Niche suite comes with a kitchenette which includes: a small sink, dishes, utensils, a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, complimentary coffee / teas (Organic Vermont Coffee Roasters), small blender, and electric tea pot. This compact setup is intended for light meal prep / light cooking but note that there are no hot plates or heating surfaces. However we do offer an outdoor grill. The Solo Traveler Escape comes with a micro-kitchenette which includes a coffee maker, a complimentary coffee bar (Organic Vermont Coffee Roasters), a mini-fridge and a microwave. This set up is intended for food basics, such as making coffee before you head out for the day, and warming up take out food / food you bring with you. There are no food prep areas provided, and no hot surfaces for cooking. EXTERIOR SPACE: Large spacious South facing deck with plenty of places to lounge / patio furniture. Roomy back yard. Private walking trails. Fruit orchard. Solo Stove. Firewood is available for $5 /bundle (request in advance). Gas grill. OUTDOORS & SURROUNDINGS: Secluded surroundings bordered by serene forest. Glimpse the skyline view of Owl's Head, Cascade and Porter Mountains through the trees. Dark sky viewing of the Milky Way (85% viewable!) directly above the property! Located within walking distance to Keene's local shops and eateries. The East Branch of the Ausable River is across the road. Take a pleasant five-minute walk to a small sandy beach - river chairs are available for use. Guest access Self Check-in. During your stay, you'll have private access to both entire studio guest suites and designated parking areas. In winter months, 4WD or AWD is required for safe access to the premises. The lower level is accessible through an exterior stairwell and is located below my private residence. Other things to note 1. Between November through April, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended for accessing the property. 2.
