Twin Room (Blue Room)

Twin bedded room (1 of 2) + shared bathroom. Sole use of guest bathroom if other twin not booked. Parking restrictions - drive can be booked at no extra charge if available and requested AT TIME of booking. Access to kitchen to make tea/coffee/herbal - with honesty box contribution. Quiet working household. Guests are expected to be out during day. Dogs often downstairs as I look after small breeds. Appreciate no outside shoes in bedrooms. The space Light spacious airy house ~ Access to kitchen to make tea/coffee/herbals only- with honesty box for your contribution. ~ shared bathroom (if other twin occupied, otherwise sole use) ~ use of chillout room (tv & games, pool-table, sofa, desk) Guest access Feel free to use our soya milk, tea, coffee, herbals - just leave an appropriate contribution in the honesty box. If your stay is longer than a week, you are welcome to use the kitchen, however this is a mostly non meat/fish/egg eating household, so please do not book if you need to consume these. During your stay WhatsApp is the best way to communicate with me Other things to note House Manual Hi and thank you for booking a stay in our home :-) Here are some smiley points for staying in our home. :-) Feel free to use our soy milk, tea, herbals, salt/pepper etc just leave an appropriate contribution in the honesty box near the kettle. :-) Please feel free to bring your own continental breakfast items for use in the kitchen. There is a cupboard and a shelf in the fridge for you. Let me know if you do want to use the kitchen and I will show you where things are. (Locally, there is a large tesco & aldi nearby) :-) Non meat/fish eating household. If you have booked both rooms, (or your stay is longer than 5 days/or you are a regular guest), you are welcomed to use the kitchen, microwave & stove top. However please do not book if you need to consume meats / fish / eggs. Cheese and dairy is ok. :-) My husband and I work from home, so the house tends to be quiet during normal working hours with wifi limited during the day as we need full bandwidth. If you come in late/or are nocturnal, please be quiet as we will be sleeping zzz :-) Dogs. I regularly look after small/medium dogs during the day / overnight. Please do not book if you are not comfortable with dogs. (They are not allowed upstairs, we have a dog gate) :-) Washing. If you are staying for 5 days or more & have a bag of washing, I don't mind doing this for you - £5 is the suggested contribution. Also fresh bed linen / towels will be provided every week of your stay for you to change your bedding. :-) We have a small gym, please ask if you'd like to use it and I'll show you where it is. :-) Access to the courtyard & garden is via the kitchen. Please keep garden gate closed when dogs are around. Please feel free to eat breakfast in the garden, or our large airy greenhouse (particularly beautiful in spring & autumn) to eat breakfast. Our outside swing bench is lovely in the summer months, and lit up with solar lights in the evening. :-) In colder months the heating is on first thing early morning and then again in the evening. Usually set around 17.5'c. :-) Shower. You need to turn the shower on; switch located outside the bathroom to the left of the door as you go in. (And off again please) :-) Outside shoes off at the bedroom door please. :-) Please ensure the front door is closed, sometimes it 'looks' closed, but hasn't properly clicked shut. :-) Checkout is strictly by 11am if I do not have other guests arriving. If no other guests are arriving, checkout can be later, so do drop me a message if you would like this. You are always welcome to leave your bags/luggage in the porch for the day.
