Whether you’re traveling with family, friends 🤗, or simply need a peaceful break, Cabana Bega welcomes you with comfort, privacy, and a true taste of rural Romania. 🌾 🐾 pet-friendly The space Welcome to Cabana Bega – your cozy escape in the mountains of Timiș County, just 1h30 from Timișoara. 🏡🌲 Our rustic, pet-friendly cabin is perfect for families, couples or small groups looking to relax in nature, enjoy home-cooked meals, and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. The cabin includes: • 🛋️ A bright room with mountain-view windows, a traditional wood-burning stove for cozy evenings, and a comfortable extendable sofa, that becomes a comfortable bedroom with two double beds at night. • 🛏️ A separate bedroom with bunk beds, a favorite for kids, heated by a modern electric radiator. • 🍽️ A fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning oven, induction stove, microwave, Nespresso machine (capsule-based), and dining area perfect for preparing meals with local ingredients. • 🚿 A small bathroom with a window and a walk-in shower, ideal for a countryside getaway. • 🌄 A generous covered terrace (prispa) with outdoor dining space, ideal for enjoying a grilled meal or a board games night with a view of the surrounding hills. 🙏🏼 The cabin is around 50 sqm and features a cozy, well-organized space, perfect for an authentic cabin stay, not for those looking for very large areas or hotel-style layouts. Outside, you’ll find: • 🔥 A round charcoal grill ready for outdoor cooking, • 🐶 A fully fenced yard – safe for pets and children alike, • 🐾 Our resident animals – a friendly small dog and a loving cat, who might come say hello. The cabin shares the property with our parents’ home, who are always happy to greet you warmly and help with anything you need during your stay – from local tips to fresh eggs and homemade bread. 🤗 Cabana Bega is PET-FRIENDLY 🐾, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, and NATURE-FRIENDLY 🌿. If you’re looking for peace, tradition, and fresh mountain air – you’ll feel right at home. Guest access The cottage is located at the entrance to the village on the left side, access by car is very easy. In the village, very close are two small grocery stores where you can find basic products, sweets, beer and juices. In the area there are many mountain trails and places to visit such as: the Șopot waterfall just 7 km away, the Leagănul de la Crivina de sus with a breathtaking rockery just 6 km away, the wooden Church of Sfânta Parascheva in the heart of the village which dates back to 1800, The Izvorul lui Miron Monastery, the Crypt of Bogdanovich Ferencz on the way to the waterfall, the Bătrâna Village which impresses with its altitude of over 1000 m and the colorful decoration of the houses, the Fărășești Village recently renovated through this year's Color the Village project, Peșera Românești where in the summer there are sometimes symphonic music concerts, Pietrele Cohului if you want a hike of about 3 hours, or La Tuneluri dug with a chisel in the stone, where the mocanica once passed. Other things to note ! Currently, we are in the process of improving the cabin, so there are small changes that are not visible in the photos. 🏕️Tents can be set up in the yard at no additional cost. 💦The tap water is drinkable, it comes from a mountain spring. 🐾 On the property lives Pufi, our friendly, small rescue dog. He’s very sociable with both people and other pets, and might join you for a peaceful walk through the village. 🍗For the barbecue, we provide you with firewood at your discretion, but if you prefer charcoal you can buy it from a shop before arrival . 🐄In the village there are many local producers where you can buy bread, doughnuts, eggs, cheese, milk, jam, fish (trout), honey, homemade plum brandy, blueberries and mushrooms (in season). 📶 Connectivity: In the village, mobile signal is available only for Telekom. However, at our cabin you have access to free Wi-Fi, and thanks to Wi-Fi Calling, you can easily receive phone calls and messages as if you had regular signal. 🌲 Our cabin is located in a rural, wooded area. While we treat seasonally for pests, it's possible you may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife inside or around the property.
